The virgin from Maine in the US, is very open with her audience about her lack of be:dro:om action.

Lauren, who has never been in a relationship, shares her celibate lifestyle on social media, claiming to encourage people to have ‘high standards’.

In a recent Instagram post, she admitted that she had made her virginity her ‘entire personality’ in order to gain a following online.

Celibacy is becoming increasingly popular, with celebrities such as Julia Fox and Lenny Kravitz being open about their decision not to have s::3::x.

Back in May, Fox said she had been celibate for more than two years and ‘never been better’.

Kravitz meanwhile said that his celibacy is a ‘spiritual thing’.

More recently Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones opened up about the backlash she’d received after revealing she was a 40-year-old virgin, saying it ‘k__il_led all her dates’.

She has said her choice to stay a virgin until she’s married had been ‘harder than training for the Olympics’.

Online users have flooded to support Lauren in the comments to her Instagram post, including others who have stayed a virgin until later in life.

One fan wrote: “Me too, 29 and still a virgin. It’s great to see women who aren’t ashamed of this.”

A third added: “Good for you doing what you want with your body.”

A fourth added: “Ugh yes no pregnancy scares, no worries about stds.”

While a final user said: “The older I get the more I realize how common this is. I think more young people should know.”
