Trump Admin Has Deported More Than 100k Illegal Migrants: Report

Deportations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement have surpassed 100,000 since President Trump returned to the White House in January, as he follows through on his pledge to remove undocumented immigrants, alleged gang members, and suspected terrorists from the U.S., according to a Monday report.

A Department of Homeland Security source told the New York Post that ICE has made 113,000 arrests and carried out more than 100,000 deportations since Trump’s inauguration on January 20.

“He’s doing what he was voted in to do. Point blank!” an ICE source told the outlet.

It remains unclear how many of the detainees are convicted criminals, what the status of their cases is, or their specific countries of origin — though sources believe the majority are being deported to Mexico, noted The Post.

Trump made cracking down on illegal immigration a central theme of his campaign, and on his first day back in office, he declared a border emergency, deployed thousands of additional troops to the region, shut down the asylum process for illegal border crossers, and launched a nationwide mass deportation effort.

Since then, ICE has “maxed out” its detention capacity and is now requesting additional funding from Congress to expand bed space, following 32,000 arrests in just the first 50 days, The Post said.

He has also taken sweeping action against transnational criminal groups, including invoking the 18th-century Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gang members directly to a notorious mega prison in El Salvador—without trial.

Seventeen suspected members of the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gangs were transferred to El Salvador in shackles on Sunday night, despite a federal judge blocking the use of the rarely invoked wartime-era Alien Enemies Act earlier this month.

Meanwhile, illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border have dropped to levels not seen in decades — hitting a remarkable low in March — with Department of Homeland Security sources attributing the decline to what they’re calling “the Trump effect.”

“Illegal entries into the United States are no longer a backdoor way to getting status,” a source told The Post.

Border agents encountered just under 7,000 illegal crossings in March — a dramatic 94% drop from the 137,000 who crossed during the same month last year under President Joe Biden. This follows February’s total of roughly 8,300 illegal crossings, marking the lowest monthly figure in at least 25 years.

Migrants are “scared there are consequences now,” one DHS source told The Post, adding that “everyone who is caught is charged and does time.”

Most of the illegal crossings occurred in the San Diego and El Paso border sectors, according to sources. If these trends continue, the U.S. could see illegal migration drop to levels not recorded since 1968, said The Post.

During her daily show last week, former Fox News host Megyn Kelly expressed her belief that U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts could be in a precarious position, depending on his decision regarding President Donald Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to swiftly deport illegal migrant gang members.

Supreme Court News Could Be ‘Game Over’ for Democrats: CNN

In a case contesting the Trump administration’s power to deport Venezuelan nationals under a 1798 wartime law, a federal appellate court refused to stay the orders of a lower court.

The Trump administration’s deportation agenda was further halted when a three-judge panel sided with the plaintiffs in the lawsuit in a 2-1 ruling.

Oral arguments were heard Monday by D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judges Karen Henderson, Patricia Millett, and Justin Walker, who agreed to hear the case expeditiously last week.

Millett, an Obama appointee, aligned with the plaintiffs and engaged in a back-and-forth on Monday. She debated whether the Trump administration had violated constitutional due process rights by possibly not giving those who were targeted for deportation enough time to seek habeas protections, as well as how the administration was implementing the relevant law, with Justice Department attorney Drew Ensign.

It’s all but guaranteed that the Trump administration will appeal the case.

During the CNN panel discussion, a legal analyst argued that if this case made it to the U.S. Supreme Court, it could spell the end for Democrats.

Xochitl Hinojosa, a former DOJ director of Public Affairs, said, “This has been an unprecedented case from the beginning. The reality is, is that what the D.C. circuit is ruling on is a very technical matter. They‘re not ruling on the Alien Enemies Act. They‘re actually ruling when it comes to a fight between Judge Boasberg and the Department of Justice. Justice, the Department of Justice and the administration, they used a statute from the 18th century.”

“And essentially the judge said, hold on, wait a minute, issued a tro and said, I need some more information on this. This hasn‘t been used in a long time. I would like some more information. The Justice Department stonewalled and instead they ended up filing this appeal that is now at the D.C. Circuit. So it is very process-oriented. I would say, as a general matter, no, I don‘t think the Justice Department would be successful. But given how everything in this matter has been unprecedented, from the calling to impeach the judge to everyone from their Department of Justice leadership, signing on to these filings, which never happens, it‘s clear that there is a lot of politics being played here, and it‘s unclear where that last judge is going to rule,” she added.

“And it really could all come down to that then. Then of course, mark, depending on how that goes, if Trump wins, then that‘s a victory in this one specific sense, right. Not not overall. But I mean is his bet. Mark is his hope that this eventually all goes to the Supreme Court, right?” host Erin Burnett asked.

“That‘s where they want it to end up. The Trump administration wants to have more power and more ability to conduct deportations with a minimal amount of judicial oversight. And that’s where it is,” said Marc Caputo, a senior reporter at Axios.

“The Trump administration belives that the law is on their side and the court‘s composition ultimately at the Supreme Court is also on their side. That is, the number of Republicans appointed Justices outnumber that of Democrats. And to them, those two factors are essentially the ballgame,” Caputo added.

In an interview with Fox News, Attorney General Pam Bondi strongly criticized lower court judges for getting involved in immigration issues. She also promised to take the case to the Supreme Court for review if needed.

“This is an out-of-control judge, a federal judge, trying to control our entire foreign policy, and he cannot do it,” Bondi said of the lower court decisions.

DOGE To Examine Congress Members Who Became ‘Strangely Wealthy’

The world’s richest man wants answers about how members of Congress have become “strangely wealthy” despite their relatively modest government salaries.

During a town hall in Wisconsin on Sunday night, Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said his team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would look into how certain lawmakers have amassed generational wealth, the New York Post reported.

Musk was responding to a question from an attendee who asked whether DOGE had found any evidence of money transfers from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

“Yeah, so,” Musk began as he appeared to be organizing his thoughts. “There is a massive amount of corruption, but it is circuitous. So what happens is there’s money that — obviously it’s your taxpayer money — that is then sent to various government organizations who then send it to NGO’s, which an NGO is a non-governmental organization, but obviously it’s a government-funded non-governmental organization.

“It’s just an organization. It’s just a government, and effectively there’s a giant fraud loophole which is that the government can send money to an NGO that is then no longer governed by the laws of the United States,” he continued.

“So they’ll send the money overseas to one NGO, then they’ll go through a bunch of them, and then, I’m highly confident that a bunch of that money then comes back to the United States and lands in the pockets of the people you just mentioned,” he said. “But it is a circuitous route. It doesn’t go directly, but let’s just say that there’s a lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress where I’m trying to connect the dots of, ‘How do they become rich?’”

Dozens of longtime members of Congress have amassed millionaire-level wealth over their careers. Among the richest are former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), with an estimated net worth of around $250 million, and Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), whose personal fortune is valued at roughly $552 million, The Post said.

Much of Pelosi’s wealth stems from the successful investments she and her husband, venture capitalist Paul Pelosi, have made in major tech companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Netflix.

Scott’s wealth primarily comes from his business ventures prior to his time in the Senate. He co-founded HCA Healthcare, a major operator of hospitals and medical facilities across Florida, and also launched Solantic, a chain of urgent-care clinics.

“How do they get $20 million if they’re earning $200,000 a year?” Musk further pondered. “We’re going to try to figure it out and certainly stop it from happening.”

Pelosi, in particular, has come under scrutiny for her and her husband’s unusually successful stock trading.

In December, top-ranked podcaster Joe Rogan and former Democratic Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich discussed the situation, noting that the couple has managed to beat the odds in highly suspicious ways, leading some to believe husband Paul has been getting insider trading info from his congresswoman wife, though no one has come forward with any hard evidence to show that.

Rogan told Blagojevich during the interview that someone developed an app called Autopilot, which tracks stock trading by members of Congress, including Pelosi.

“Oh, it’s so good,” Rogan said. “I’m not really a stock market person. I don’t pay attention. But, I do know people that are very invested in the stock market. And ‘Pelosi stock tracker’ is legit. Like, you could find out what she’s buying and you should buy it.”

Former Second Gentleman Emhoff’s Law Firm Strikes Deal With Trump Admin

The law firm employing Doug Emhoff, husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, is the latest to reach an agreement with the Trump administration to align with the president’s policy goals, according to a report.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that Willkie Farr & Gallagher—where Emhoff became a partner in January—has committed to providing at least $100 million in pro bono legal services during his presidency and beyond, the Los Angeles Times reported. According to Trump, the support will focus on assisting veterans, Gold Star families, law enforcement personnel, and first responders.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, his social media platform, that the firm agreed to combat antisemitism and not engage in “DEI” efforts.

“Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP proactively reached out to President Trump and his Administration, offering their decisive commitment to ending the Weaponization of the Justice System and the Legal Profession,” the White House said in a statement. “The President is delivering on his promises of eradicating Partisan Lawfare in America, and restoring Liberty and Justice FOR ALL.”

According to a source familiar with the discussions, Emhoff privately expressed his opposition to the firm’s decision to enter into an agreement with the Trump administration. The source was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter.

Neither Harris nor Emhoff responded to a request for comment on Tuesday, the Times reported.

The deal with Emhoff’s firm marks the latest in a series of agreements between the Trump White House and prominent U.S. law firms—many of which the president has previously criticized for liberal bias, engaging in frivolous or fraudulent litigation, or other forms of misconduct.

The president’s actions have sparked broad concern among Democratic lawmakers and constitutional and campaign law experts, who warn that these efforts could undermine the separation of powers enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and threaten the independence of the judiciary.

“The actions against law firms are blatantly illegal. Capitulating just encourages going after more law firms,” said Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of UC Berkeley Law, who attempted to encourage other law school deans to publicly join him in railing against the White House’s singling out of individual law firms, without much success.

“The best hope was their sticking together and fighting the illegal, retributive orders,” he told the LA Times.

The head of Emhoff’s firm, which employs 1,200 people across six countries, confirmed the agreement, according to Trump’s post.

“The substance of that agreement is consistent with our Firm’s views on access to Legal representation by clients, including pro bono clients, our commitment to complying with the Law as it relates to our employment practices, and our history of working with clients across a wide spectrum of political viewpoints,” noted Thomas M. Cerabino, the chairman of firm, per Trump’s post.

Emhoff, 60, has extensive experience as an attorney specializing in entertainment, media, and intellectual property law. He was brought on board in January to advise corporations, individuals, and organizations facing crises or navigating changing legal landscapes, as announced by the firm at the time of his hiring.

Per the Times, Cerabino said at the time of his hiring that Emhoff was “a trusted counselor to many global business leaders across a broad range of industries.”

Just before Trump announced the agreement on social media on Tuesday, Emhoff addressed students at Georgetown Law School.

“The rule of law is under attack. Democracy is under attack. And so, all of us lawyers need to do what we can to push back on that,” he said without providing any hard data to support his contention.

“Us lawyers have always been on the front lines, fighting for civil rights, for justice. … I love being a lawyer, this is what we do: We fight for people. We fight for what’s right,” he added.

Jasmine Crockett Appears To Threaten Violence Against Marjorie Taylor Greene

Left-wing “Squad” member Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) once again hinted at directing violence toward someone else, this time a GOP colleague in Congress.

In an interview with washed-up former CNN host Don Lemon, Crockett appeared to suggest getting physical with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) after Lemon intimated that Crockett should worry about the Georgia Republican coming after her.

“Do you worry about her? I mean, do you think she would… she would never do anything physical, or maybe her supporters? I don’t know,” Lemon asked.

Crockett responded: “I don’t worry about her doing anything physical. People forget that I was a criminal defense attorney… Marjorie likes to talk a lot. Um, I don’t see her ever being physical at all. Plus, I think that she may be concerned about what I can do physically.”

WATCH:

Crockett’s rhetoric has drawn the attention of federal law enforcement as well.

Last month, Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a warning to the far-left Democrat after she appeared to make a series of threatening comments toward DOGE head Elon Musk and other Republican lawmakers.

During an interview on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, Bondi accused Crockett of “threatening lives” with her rhetoric against Musk after left-wing activists targeted Tesla dealerships.

“After she said that about Elon, she said, ‘well, I didn’t mean violence,’ but however, your words have consequences. And what happened after she said that about Elon Musk? She’s a Texan in her own home state after she said that this morning, three explosive devices were found in Austin, Texas. So she needs to unequivocally denounce the violence,” Bondi said.

“She must apologize immediately, not only to all Texans, but to our country, to the American shareholders of Tesla, because she is promoting violence. And then you showed the clip of what she said about Senator Cruz. I believe she probably will be censured by Congress for saying that. People don’t learn. She’s using her public persona, her public platform to increase her followers, to increase her significance. And she is threatening lives, safety. When she did this at Tesla, people’s lives are in danger. This is America. We’re in a free country, and she’s yet encouraging this violence in our country. Think of all the lives that could have been jeopardized in Texas just today by her words and what she’s done, but she didn’t stop with that. She continued on with Senator Cruz. She has to apologize immediately and denounce the violence,” Bondi added.

The attorney general continued her criticism of Crockett’s rhetoric, saying the far-left lawmaker is calling for “further insurrection” despite being previously warned to “tread very carefully.”

“It’s interesting that these people wrap themselves in the First Amendment, but they hate Elon Musk because he’s practicing the First Amendment and … But again, words have consequences. And she does need to tread very carefully. We don’t know what else she’s saying, what else she’s doing,” Bondi declared.

She added, “But she needs to immediately apologize and denounce this because, even in her home state, violence is happening after she made these statements. It’s dangerous. She has to know it’s dangerous, and she’s calling for further insurrection on her birthday this weekend.”

Crockett came under fire previously for saying during a “Tesla Takedown” online call that, “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”

Also, an interviewer asked Crockett how Democrats could win elections in Texas. Crockett replied, “I think that you punch, I think that you punch, I think that you OK with punching.”

“It’s Ted Cruz,” she went on. “I mean, like this dude has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right? Like there is no niceties with him, like at all. Like you go clean off on him.”

Gingrich Warns Of ‘Very Dangerous’ Consequences as Dems Attack Trump

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is warning that Democrats’ “very dangerous” rhetoric and behavior could lead to something “serious” against President Donald Trump.

During an interview on Fox News, Gingrich dismissed a claim by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., that Republicans are “on the run,” warning that Democrats are in a rage and offering “no solutions.”

Gingrich said the left is resorting to extreme tactics to resist President Trump and oppose Elon Musk’s efforts to cut government spending.

“Well, I think that everything you showed earlier reflects what Lincoln said at Gettysburg when he said, this is a test of whether this system or any system so conceived in liberty can survive. You have a hard-line group who believe that they have the right to be violent, that they have the right to deny the American people the choice of their leadership, that they have the right to break the law. The answer to all of that is, frankly, you have to lock them up. You have to enforce the law,” Gingrich began.

“Period. And at some point, people begin to realize that you can’t wage war against the entire American people. And in that sense, I would argue that Elon Musk is simply one of the people serving the American people. He’s a senior advisor to the president of the United States. And I think that, in that sense, all of this is totally unacceptable, as is harassing a Supreme Court justice or harassing the vice president and his three-year-old,” Gingrich added.

“What I saw the other night … the House Democrats were sort of zombie Democrats. They couldn’t applaud anything. They couldn’t applaud the president. They couldn’t applaud a 13-year-old cancer survivor. They couldn’t applaud a young man who wanted to go to West Point. They couldn’t applaud people who were there who had lost loved ones. It was pretty bizarre. And I think that, you know, Hakeem Jeffries may think he has to say these things. He’s their leader,” he said.

“What’s he going to say? But the fact is, the Democrats currently have no solutions. They are so enraged that Trump is actually changing what, overwhelmingly, Americans believe is a corrupt system. I’ll just give you one piece of data. Our America’s New Majority project just had a poll come out yesterday. 82% of the American people believe the system is corrupt. Now that’s dangerous. Both for the survival of freedom. But also it tells you the fact that the Democrats, who want to defend the bureaucracy and the corruption and the waste, they’re going to have a big mountain to climb come 2026,” Gingrich continued.

Polling analyst Matt Towery has issued a stark warning to Democrats that they need to get control of their party back from the extremists, or they will go “completely off the edge.”

He appeared on the Fox News show “The Ingraham Angle” on Friday, where he compared former Democratic presidential candidate George McGovern in 1972 to the current state of the Democratic Party.

“The Democrats right now look like they’re drifting more towards the direction of George McGovern in 1972. And if you recall that that didn’t go so well. And Walz seems to be the perfect replacement for McGovern, except he makes McGovern look a little more serious,” he said.

“This is a point where the Democrats who really know what they’re doing in their party, and that’s people … who have run campaigns over the years, know the real issues people are concerned about, have either got in control of this party or it’s going to drift completely off the edge,” the pollster said.

He added that the Democrats should stop attacking President Donald Trump in favor of promoting policies that assist Americans.

“They certainly can’t keep attacking Donald Trump, because the pollsters who really get it right about Trump, I’m one, there are others, such as Robert Cahaly at Trafalgar and many others, Rasmussen, who polls every day,” the pollster said.

“They’re showing the president’s approval ratings are staying up, not going down. This is not, and Signalgate has not done anything, either. Yeah, I think that they got to get a new direction,” he said.

Democrats are facing significant challenges from their own voters, as their support for the party has reached unprecedented lows.

report from Politico, which dug into the recent polls, showed disaster for the Democrats, with the news organization saying the left-wing party should be “very afraid.”

“Congressional Democrats have typically enjoyed higher popularity with their voting base than their Republican counterparts. But the trauma of the 2024 presidential election defeat appears to have ruptured that relationship. A review of Quinnipiac University’s annual first-quarter congressional polling reveals that, for the first time in the poll’s history, congressional Democrats are now underwater with their own voters in approval ratings,” Politico said.

Tucker Carlson Steps Away From Show After Personal Family Tragedy

Tucker Carlson took to social media on Wednesday to announce that his father has passed away and that he would be taking a break from his program for an as yet undetermined amount of time.

The former standout Fox News host wrote a lengthy obituary for Richard Warner Carlson who died at the age of 84 on March 24 at his home in Boca Grande, Fla. “after six weeks of illness” during which he “refused all painkillers and leaving “this world with dignity and clarity, holding the hands of his children with his dogs at his feet.”

Carlson provided further details about the unique, sometimes tragic, but always intriguing life and times his father lived:

He was born February 10, 1941 at Massachusetts General Hospital to a 15-year-old Swedish-speaking girl and placed in the Home for Little Wanderers in Boston, where he developed rickets from malnutrition. His legs were bent for the rest of his life. After years in foster homes, he was placed with the Carlson family in Norwood, Mass. His adoptive father, a tannery manager, died when he was 12 and he stopped attending school regularly. At 17, he was jailed for car theft, thrown out of high school for the second time, and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps.

In 1962, in search of adventure, he drove to California. He spent a year as a merchant seaman on the SS Washington Bear, transporting cargo to ports in the Orient, and then became a reporter. Over the next decade, he was a copy boy at the LA Times, a wire service reporter for UPI and an investigative reporter and anchor for ABC News, covering the upheaval of the period. He knew virtually every compelling figure of the time, including Jim Jones, Patty Hearst, Eric Hoffer, Jerry Garcia, as well as Mafia leaders and members of the Manson Family. In 1965, he was badly injured reporting from the Watts riots in Los Angeles.

By 1975, he was married with two small boys, when his wife departed for Europe and didn’t return. He threw himself into raising his boys, whom he often brought with him on reporting trips. At home, he educated them during three-hour dinners on topics that ranged from the French Revolution to Bolshevik Russia, PG Wodehouse, the history of the American Indian and, always, the eternal and unchanging nature of people. He was a free thinker and a compulsive book reader, including at red lights. He left a library of thousands of books, most dog-eared and filled with marginalia. His reading and life experiences convinced him that God is real. He had an outlaw spirit tempered by decency.

In 1979, he married the love of his life, Patricia Swanson. They were together for 44 years, all of them happy. She died sixteen months before he did and he mourned her every day.

In 1985, he moved to Washington to work for the Reagan Administration. He spent five years as the director of the Voice of America, and then moved to the Seychelles as the US ambassador. In 1992, he became the CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and later ran a division of King World television.

The last 25 years of his life were spent in work whose details were never completely clear to his family, but that was clearly interesting. He worked in dozens of countries and breakaway republics around the world, and was involved in countless intrigues. He knew a number of colorful national leaders, including Rafic Hariri of Lebanon, Aslan Abashidze of Adjara, Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, and whomever runs Somaliland. He was a fundamentally nonjudgmental person who was impossible to shock, and he described them all with amused affection.

He spoke to his sons every day and had lunch with them once a week for thirty years at the Metropolitan Club in Washington, always prefaced by a dice game. Throughout his life he fervently loved dogs.

Richard W. Carlson is survived by his sons, Tucker and Buckley, his beloved daughter-in-law Susie, and five grandchildren. He was the toughest human being anyone in his family ever knew, and also the kindest and most loyal. RIP.

DOGE Adviser Says IRS Tech Upgrade Decades Behind Schedule, Billions In Debt

A technology adviser working for the Elon Musk-run Department of Government Efficiency made a stunning revelation about what he discovered at the Internal Revenue Service during an appearance with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Fox News.

In an interview with host Laura Ingraham, Sam Corcos, who is working at the IRS to modernize the tax collection agency’s software and computer systems, said that the upgrade is more than three decades behind schedule and billions of dollars over budget — with no resolution yet in sight.

“I’ve been brought in to look at the IRS modernization program, as well as the operations and maintenance budget,” Corcos told Ingraham. “This is a huge program that is already 30 years behind schedule and $15 billion over budget.”

“The IRS has some legacy infrastructure… old mainframes running COBOL and Assembly, and the challenge is how do we make that a modern system? Virtually every bank has done this, but we’re still using a lot of those old systems,” Corcos continued.

“Typically, in industry, this takes a few years and maybe a few hundred million dollars. We’re now 35 years into this… It was supposed to be delivered in 1996,” he added.

“A huge part of our government is collecting taxes. We cannot perform the basic functions of tax collection without paying a toll to all these contractors. We really have to figure out how to get out of this hole. We’re in a really deep hole right now,” Corcos noted further.

Bessent then said that the real issue isn’t with IRS staff but with agency contractors.

“Many of the employees are fantastic. It’s this consultant group. They’re like a boa constrictor. They’re like a python,” Bessent said. “They’ve constricted themselves around our government, and the costs are unbelievable. They’re being passed on to the American taxpayer.

“The entrenched interests, the consultants, the Democrats, mainstream media, they just want to blow this project out of the water,” Bessent added. “This is the opposite of government efficiency, not elimination, not extinction. Sam and his crew are making it more efficient to work for the American people. So what’s wrong with it working better, cheaper, faster, and with more privacy?”

Meanwhile, Musk told Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Monday that “magic money computers” within the U.S. government are generating payments “out of thin air,” leaving lawmakers clueless about federal spending.

Speaking on Cruz’s podcast, Musk revealed that 14 such systems exist within the U.S. Treasury and other agencies, transferring large sums without the necessary evidence to justify the payments. Musk claimed that in departments housing one of these systems, reported spending could be off by as much as 5 percent of the budget when presented to Congress, while Cruz suggested that these improper payments could potentially total “trillions” of dollars.

“They’re mostly at Treasury,” Musk said about the computers discovered by his U.S. Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, “but there’s some at [Health and Human Services], there’s one or two at State, there’s some at [the Department of Defense].”

“I think we’ve found now 14 magic money computers. They just send money out of nothing,” he told the Texas Republican senator.

Expounding on DOGE’s discovery, the unconventional entrepreneur explained that the presence of these computers prevents the Treasury Dept. from fully informing lawmakers about the federal government’s total spending.

“You may think that government computers all talk to each other, they all synchronize, they add up what funds are going somewhere, and it’s coherent and that the numbers you’re presented as a senator are actually the real numbers. They’re not,” he said.

Pentagon Launches Wide-Ranging Probe To Uncover, Prosecute Leakers

The hunt is underway for Pentagon leakers who fed the media what the Trump administration is calling blatant Fake News, according to reports.

On Thursday, The New York Times—citing unnamed sources—reported that Elon Musk was set to receive a classified briefing on U.S. military plans for a potential conflict with China, raising alarm over the unprecedented idea of granting such access to a civilian with business ties to Beijing.

The report quickly gained traction, with CNN eagerly amplifying the story—until Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shut it down, clarifying that while Musk was indeed scheduled to visit the Pentagon, no war plan briefing was on the agenda.

Taking to Truth Social, President Donald Trump called the report an “absolutely ridiculous and false story, which is probably libelous.”

“The Fake News is the ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE…And Elon is NOT BEING BRIEFED ON ANYTHING CHINA BY THE DEPARTMENT OF WAR!!!” added the president.

Following the reports, Hegseth’s chief of staff, Joe Kasper, called for an investigation, which he said would include the use of polygraphs, into “unauthorized disclosures” of national security information, according to Bloomberg.

Kasper wants the leakers to “be referred to the appropriate criminal law enforcement entity for criminal prosecution.”

The investigation into leaks “will commence immediately and culminate in a report to the Secretary of Defense,” Kasper wrote in a Friday memo.

“The report will include a complete record of unauthorized disclosures within the Department of Defense and recommendations to improve such efforts,” the memo said.

The memo was issued after Musk took to his X platform to publicly call for a probe and prosecution of the leakers.

“The New York Times is pure propaganda. Also, I look forward to the prosecutions of those at the Pentagon who are leaking maliciously false information to NYT. They will be found,” he wrote in a post containing a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post.

The Pentagon is not the only federal entity seeking to find and prosecute leakers. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has said this month that she used lie detectors to learn who was leaking sensitive information to the media.

Her investigation “identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy. We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done,” she said.

“We’re going to continue to do all that we can to keep America safe,” she added.

Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for DHS, told Fox News that the two people will face charges.

“We are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the DOJ for felony prosecutions,” the spokesperson said. “These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison. We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time, and we will get justice for the American people.”

Earlier this month, Noem announced that her department had identified some leakers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.

“I have found some leakers,” she said in an interview with The Epoch Times. “We are continuing to get more. They will be fired, and there will be consequences.”

She said that her department used “every tactic,” including administering polygraph tests and examining communications and emails, to find those responsible.

Noem’s announcement last week came after The Los Angeles Times published a story earlier this month detailing an ICE operation that was in the works based on a leaked memo.

Trump Pulls Security Clearances For Harris, Cheney, Others

President Donald Trump made a national security decision that has shocked some because it is not a common practice.

On Friday, he revoked the security clearances of several former high-ranking government officials in a move he said was necessary to protect the country. He had previously taken away the security clearance of his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, in a highly unusual move.

The president issued the memorandum on the official White House website:

“I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information:  Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Cheney, Kamala Harris, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and any other member of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s family.  Therefore, I hereby direct every executive department and agency head to take all additional action as necessary and consistent with existing law to revoke any active security clearances held by the aforementioned individuals and to immediately rescind their access to classified information.  I also direct all executive department and agency heads to revoke unescorted access to secure United States Government facilities from these individuals,” the president said.

“This action includes, but is not limited to, receipt of classified briefings, such as the President’s Daily Brief, and access to classified information held by any member of the Intelligence Community by virtue of the named individuals’ previous tenure in the Congress,” he said.

“In the event that any of the named individuals received a security clearance by virtue of their employment with a private entity, the United States Government entity that granted the security clearance should inform the private entity that these individuals’ ability to access classified information has been revoked,” President Trump said.

In February in an announcement on the Truth Social platform, the president announced he was pulling daily intelligence briefings for Biden after determining that the former president’s alleged state of mind makes him a national security risk. He has also revoked the 46th president’s security clearance.

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings,” Trump wrote, adding that Biden did the same to him shortly after he took office.

“He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,” Trump continued.

“The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

Trump was referencing former Special Counsel Robert Hur, who submitted a report on Biden’s alleged improper retention of classified records, which highlighted the former president’s frequent memory lapses and contradicted his earlier claims.

In March, Hur testified that he found evidence suggesting that “pride and money” were factors motivating Biden to retain classified documents. Despite these findings, Hur did not recommend criminal charges against the then-sitting president, Fox News noted.

Trump Scores Massive Victory As Appeals Court Lifts Injunction On His DEI Order

President Donald Trump has scored a key victory in his quest to end Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs in the federal government.

On Friday, an appeals court nixed a lower court’s injunction against the president’s executive order to end DEI programs funded with federal tax dollars.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Richmond, Va., lifted the nationwide injunction that was imposed by U.S. District Judge Adam Abelson, a Biden appointee, in Baltimore, NBC News reported.

The three-judge panel said that the president’s orders, which included having the Department of Justice investigate companies that utilize DEI policies, were likely constitutional.

But two of the three judges said they did not agree with the substance of the president’s orders and that those who implement them may be violating the Constitution.

“Despite the vitriol now being heaped on DEI, people of good faith who work to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion deserve praise, not opprobrium,” Circuit Judge Albert Diaz said in his opinion, though that appeared to have nothing to do with the law as District Judge Allison Rushing, a Trump appointee, noted in her opinion.

“A judge’s opinion that DEI programs ‘deserve praise, not opprobrium’ should play absolutely no part in deciding this case,” she wrote.

In February, Attorney General Pam Bondi ended federal lawsuits that the Biden administration had filed against local police and fire departments over their merit-based hiring policies.

Under the Biden administration, the DOJ’s Office of Civil Rights had sued local first responders for prioritizing merit in hiring rather than making decisions based on race, Just the News reported.

“Despite no evidence of intentional discrimination – only statistical disparities – the prior administration branded the aptitude tests at issue in these cases as discriminatory in an effort to advance a DEI agenda,” the DOJ said in a news release.

“And it sought to coerce cities into conducting DEI-based hiring in response and spending millions of dollars in taxpayer funds for payouts to previous applicants who had scored lower on the tests, regardless of qualifications,” the news release added.

President Donald Trump signed executive orders ending Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies within the federal government, and Bondi’s decision this week marks the latest development in the ongoing effort to roll back DEI initiatives under the new administration.

Bondi’s office stated that DEI policies pose a threat to public safety and indicated that dismissing the cases represents an “an early step toward eradicating illegal DEI preferences across the government and in the private sector.”

“American communities deserve firefighters and police officers to be chosen for their skill and dedication to public safety – not to meet DEI quotas,” Bondi said.

The proposed consent decrees typically acknowledged that the departments used neutral selection criteria, such as credit checks, written exams, and physical fitness tests, to evaluate candidates for open positions. However, White men tended to achieve higher scores or perform better on these assessments, Fox News added.

For instance, a lawsuit filed in October against the City of Durham, North Carolina, alleged “unintentional” discrimination against Black applicants, citing that they failed to meet the required 70% passing score on the written exam at a lower rate than White candidates, resulting in fewer Black hires.

As a remedy, the complaint proposed eliminating the neutral written test and providing “back pay and/or preferential hiring” for Black candidates who were not selected due to their exam performance. The estimated cost of these measures was approximately $980,000 in monetary relief.

In a separate case filed against the Maryland State Police in October 2024, it was proposed that the agency discontinue its current selection methods, which included a written test requiring a score of 70% or higher and a physical assessment consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, a flexibility reach, a trigger pull, and a 1.5-mile run, Fox added.

“Because Black applicants passed the test less often than White applicants and because women passed the physical test less often than men, the Civil Rights Division concluded that Maryland was illegally discriminating against Black applicants and women,” a filing in the case said.

Michelle Obama Address 2028 Presidential Run Rumors

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has once again shut down rumors and speculation about her possibly making a presidential run.

During an interview on “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,” Obama made it clear that her priority is the well-being of her daughters, Sasha and Malia, who grew up under intense public scrutiny during their time in the White House.

Obama declared that she is “not interested in politics” as a mom of two.

“I was so glad when we got out of the White House,” the 61-year-old admitted, referencing the end of her husband former President Barack Obama’s second term in 2017.

“I wanted them to have the freedom of not having the eyes of the world on them. They still are dealing with paparazzi and being who they are and trying to carve out their own identity,” Obama said, referring to her two daughters.

Because of that, Michelle noted, “When people ask me, would I ever run [for office], the answer is no.”

She said that those wondering “have absolutely no idea the sacrifice that your kids make when your parents are in that role.”

The former lawyer added, “Not only am I not interested in politics in that way but the thought of putting my girls back into that spotlight when they are just now establishing themselves — we’ve done enough.”

As far as Michelle is concerned, the “question [has been] asked and answered” and is “never gonna happen.”

She concluded, “They’ve already served their time. … It would be unthinkable. Nope.”

In his first two months back in office, President Donald Trump has made significant progress.

Officials from the Trump administration gave the American people a strong update on Sunday morning, highlighting big wins in national security, immigration, and education.

It was clear: President Trump is getting things done.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon argued for school choice and local control, saying, “He doesn’t think ANY child should be trapped in a failing school.” Trump’s goal is to give every student the best access to education, and she stressed that Washington bureaucrats can’t make better decisions than parents and local teachers.

While trying to stop deportations, Attorney General Pam Bondi criticized activist judges and said that one ruling was “out of control.” She pointed to the 261 gang members who were arrested and were now in jail in El Salvador and said, “We will follow the law and protect Americans.”

As a result of Houthi attacks, 75% of U.S.-flagged ships are now staying away from the Suez Canal, according to National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. “The last administration was not effective,” he praised Trump’s leadership. “President Trump has decided to do something much tougher and harder.” There are many choices when it comes to Iran, according to Waltz.

For example, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that Trump’s policy of “peace through strength” is helping to move peace talks in Ukraine forward by bringing both sides to the table.

“We’re not making this up,” said Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, to confirm that Trump is following US immigration law exactly as written. Our whole actions are based on the law. The objective is to have full operational control of the border, and the administration will utilize all available resources to complete this task.

A fresh DecipherAi poll found that 48% of likely California voters are okay with electing a Republican governor in 2026.

This is a big change in the normally very blue state. Voters were angry about the high cost of living, gas, and the fact that undocumented immigrants get free medical care.

Early polls show that Democrats like Kamala Harris are ahead, but the GOP sees more chances as people become less satisfied with the government.

Bondi Says Epstein Files Release Imminent As FBI Works To Protect Victims

Attorney General Pam Bondi assured on Sunday that files about the late financier Jeffrey Epstein would soon be released per an executive order issued in January by President Donald Trump just as soon as FBI agents finished redacting personal information regarding his victims.

During an appearance on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo, Bondi told the host that FBI agents were working diligently to shield personal, private information related to the convicted pedophile’s hundreds of victims spread over thousands of documents.

“Tens of thousands of pages of documents, and hundreds and hundreds of victims of Jeffrey Epstein,” Bondi said. “So the FBI, they have been working ’round the clock at my directive, at [FBI Director] Kash Patel’s directive, now [FBI Deputy Director] Dan Bongino’s there, who is a great asset for all of us at the FBI as well,” she said.

“But yeah, we have to protect their identity, their personal information to make sure they’re safe. But other than that, we are releasing all of these documents as soon as we can get them redacted to protect the victims of him,” Bondi continued.

The Justice Department is scrambling to review sensitive materials from the FBI’s investigation into Epstein, with Bondi pressing both the FBI and her department to release more documents, multiple sources told ABC News. The push comes amid mounting pressure from President Donald Trump’s supporters demanding greater transparency in the case.

Sources say as many as a thousand FBI agents—many typically assigned to national security duties—have been redirected to assist with the effort, the outlet claimed.

Justice Department officials have made it clear throughout the Trump administration that reviewing the materials related to Epstein has become a top priority for Bondi, according to sources who spoke to ABC News. The goal is to determine what information can be publicly released in the coming days.

FBI agents involved in the review have reportedly been instructed to prepare for long hours, including working into the early morning, the outlet said.

In a statement, a DOJ spokesperson told ABC News, “Under Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, the Department of Justice is working relentlessly to deliver unprecedented transparency for the American people.”

“Director Patel is committed to full transparency and justice, swiftly delivering documents to the DOJ,” FBI spokesperson Ben Williamson told ABC News in a statement. “He has complete faith in Attorney General Pam Bondi’s leadership and dedication to holding the powerful accountable.”

Sources allegedly told ABC News the Justice Department is considering the release of previously undisclosed video evidence from the Epstein sex-trafficking investigation, though no final decision has been made.

Officials are also believed to be reviewing materials listed in a recently released document titled “Evidence List”—a three-page inventory detailing items reportedly seized during searches of Epstein’s properties in New York, Florida, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

According to the document, investigators recovered items including “one CD labeled ‘girl pics nude book 4’” and a folder marked “LSJ logbook,” which appears to reference Epstein’s private island, Little St. James.

The document also includes an extensive list of recording devices, computers, hard drives, and memory sticks, as well as various items of sexual paraphernalia.

Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal child sex trafficking charges. The wealthy and well-connected financier, who owned a private island estate in the U.S. Virgin Islands, has long been the subject of speculation surrounding an alleged “client list” of high-profile figures.

Some have accused authorities of concealing such a list, though multiple sources familiar with both the civil and criminal cases against Epstein say no such list has ever been found.

Musk Threatens Lawsuit Against Ousted ‘Squad’ Democrat Over TV Remarks

Elon Musk has threatened legal action after former Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., referred to President Donald Trump’s top adviser as a “Nazi” and a “thief” during a recent appearance on CNN.

“I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound,” Musk wrote on X on Friday, replying to a clip of Bowman’s recent roundtable table discussion on CNN.

Bowman, who was beaten in a July 2024 Democratic primary by a centrist pro-Israel candidate, told a panel of CNN commentators that the “American people do not trust Elon Musk and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position.”

“How do we know? Because they fired tens of thousands of people, was challenged in court. The court said the people have to go back, and now the people are coming back,” Bowman told CNN.

“He’s incompetent. He’s a thief. He’s a Nazi. And people don’t trust him,” Bowman claimed of Musk.

WATCH:

Other Democrats have also hurled fascist claims against Musk, including Bowman’s former fellow “Squad” member, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., who said last month Musk was a “Nazi nepo baby.”

In October 2023, then-Rep. Bowman turned himself in to police after the district attorney’s office in Washington, D.C., charged him with making a false fire alarm.

District of Columbia Attorney General Brian Schwalb charged Bowman with a misdemeanor “after he pulled the fire alarm in a House office building before a vote in late September on a temporary funding package to prevent a government shutdown,” the Daily Caller reported.

Bowman was charged with a violation of D.C. codes. There is “probable cause to believe that the defendant willfully or knowingly gave a false fire alarm within the District of Columbia,” Bowman’s arrest report said, according to the outlet.

At the time, Bowman claimed that he thought that by pulling the alarm, a door would open.

“Today as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open,” Bowman said following the incident, which was captured on video and immediately seized upon by Republicans. “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.”

Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) introduced a resolution previously to censure Bowman following his indictment. The censure measure also called for stripping Bowman of his committee assignments.

“The House of Representatives censures Jamaal Bowman, Representative of the 16th Congressional District of New York, for violating District of Columbia Criminal Code Section 22-1319 by knowingly causing a false alarm of fire in an attempt to obstruct official proceedings of the House,” the resolution says.

“Bowman will forthwith present himself in the well of the House of Representatives for the pronouncement of censure,” it also reads, with the pronouncement to be done by then-newly elected House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).

Bowman has been criticized by Democrats and Republicans. And his stunt led to a closed-door meeting with his party’s leader, Hakeem Jeffries, a fellow New York Democrat, following a complaint filed with the House Ethics Committee.

“What I did was against D.C. law,” Bowman said. “As I said from the very beginning, I was not trying to disrupt any congressional proceedings, I’m glad the investigation yielded that.”

Fox News reported that Bowman copped a plea with the DA’s office: He will pay a $1000 fine and write a letter of apology — or someone on his staff will — to the U.S. Capitol Police Dept.

Republican Wins Crucial Special Election

Support for Republicans in deep blue New York is still growing almost two months after President Donald Trump took office.

The winner in a local race last week was a Republican in Southampton, a town of 70,000 people on the edge of Long Island. Democrat John Leonard lost to Republican Richard Martel in the race for a seat on the town’s governing council that had been held by a Democrat.

With more than 99% of the votes counted, Martel had 53% of the vote and won by a few hundred votes.

New York is mostly blue, but some surprising areas of red are strong and even growing. Long Island has three congressmen, and two of them are Republicans. In November 2016, the borough gave the most votes to President Donald Trump of any place in the city.

Long Island’s western shores have long been seen as a working-class haven where conservative candidates do better than those running on the island’s eastern shores. Some of the wealthiest liberals have lived in coves just a few minutes’ drive from Southampton in places like East Hampton and Montauk, which are vacation spots.

As a part of Long Island, the Hamptons are home to many of the most famous people who backed Kamala Harris’s failed presidential campaign. This shows how important the Southampton election is to the people who live there and vote there.

The fact that Martel, a business owner in Hampton Bays, was on the town board from 2020 to 2023 and then on the town council before helped him, according to the East Hampton Star. The race was a microcosm of many national issues, such as the heated debate over affordable housing and the region’s role in President Trump’s plan to get rid of illegal immigrants.

According to the SI Reporter, the GOP’s move into Southampton shows that progress is still being made after Harris beat Trump 53.4% to 46.6%.

People in nearby towns like Easthampton and Shelter Island voted for Harris and Wald by more than two to one.

The GOP in New York City isn’t happy with just controlling one borough. Starting in 2025, they plan to run more competitively across the whole city.

The decision by the U.S. Justice Department to drop its corruption case against Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has made him much more friendly with the Trump-Vance administration.

Adams was first elected in 2021, and he has told close friends that he is thinking about running as a Republican this November to get re-elected.

Former Clinton pollster Mark Penn said Friday on Fox News that key voter blocs are continuing to abandon the Democratic Party, as it suffers its worst approval rating in modern history.

According to a CNN/SSRS poll conducted from March 6–9, the party’s favorability has dropped to a record low of 29 percent. During an appearance on “Hannity,” Penn expressed surprise at the party’s sharp decline, saying he hasn’t seen its numbers this low in decades.

“I’ve never seen anything like this in over 40 years of polling. The Democratic Party ratings have collapsed from a 47% favorable down to 29, 27 in some of these polls, and that’s an incredible loss of moderate, working-class voters,” Penn told host Sean Hannity.

Penn said the Democratic Party appears to be shrinking to a core base made up largely of left-wing figures such as Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, who have been actively campaigning to promote the party’s agenda nationwide.

“Those [are the] kinds of voters that the Democratic Party needs to win elections, and it’s being shrunk to a base of left-wing advocates like Bernie Sanders and AOC who were touring the country carrying the Democratic banner. That’s not helping,” Penn said.

A coalition of national Democratic groups—including the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the Association of State Democratic Committees—launched the “People’s Town Halls” tour last Friday in Iowa, focusing on Republican-held districts across the country, the Western Journal reported.

The effort comes in the wake of the Democratic Party’s significant defeats in the 2024 elections, which saw Republicans win the White House and gain control of both chambers of Congress.

Tennessee AG Backs Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Executive Order In SCOTUS Brief

In a series of emergency appeals, President Donald Trump’s administration requested that the Supreme Court permit him to advance with his plans to terminate birthright citizenship, elevating a legal theory that has thus far been rejected by numerous lower courts.

In a series of emergency appeals, the Trump administration asked the justices to limit the impact of the controversial policy, arguing that lower courts had gone too far in issuing nationwide injunctions to block it.

In January, a federal judge blocked the implementation of his executive order, calling it “blatantly unconstitutional.” Trump’s plan “runs counter to our nation’s 250-year history of citizenship by birth,” a Maryland judge declared a few days later.

The Trump administration’s request to halt lower court decisions that placed nationwide injunctions on an executive order he signed on the first day of his second term has been dismissed by appeals courts.

Courts have interpreted the 14th Amendment’s language for more than 150 years to ensure citizenship for anyone who is “born or naturalized in the United States,” irrespective of their parents’ immigration status. That interpretation of the law was upheld by a significant Supreme Court decision in 1898, and the current court has shown no intention of changing that decision.

However, because the 14th Amendment states that the benefit is only available to those who are “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States, some conservatives have argued that those long-held beliefs are incorrect. According to the theory, people who enter the country illegally are under the jurisdiction of their home country.

In response to requests from over 20 states, two immigrant rights organizations, and seven individual plaintiffs, courts in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington have all issued injunctions preventing implementation.

In his appeals to the Supreme Court, Trump is not directly questioning whether the policy is legal or not. Instead, the administration is making what they called a “modest” request to limit the scope of the injunctions.

Still, that is a big ask because if the Supreme Court says yes, the administration will be able to enforce its order against people who aren’t affected by the current lawsuit.

“Universal injunctions have reached epidemic proportions since the start of the current administration,” the Justice Department told the Supreme Court in its emergency appeals. “Those universal injunctions prohibit a Day 1 Executive Order from being enforced anywhere in the country, as to ‘hundreds of thousands’ of unspecified individuals who are ‘not before the court nor identified by the court.’”

“During the 20th century,” the administration told the court, “the executive branch adopted the incorrect position that the citizenship clause extended birthright citizenship to almost everyone born in the United States – even children of illegal aliens or temporarily present aliens,” the administration wrote. “That policy of near-universal birthright citizenship has created strong incentives for illegal immigration.”

On Friday, Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti sent an amicus brief to the US Supreme Court in support of President Donald Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and people who are not citizens.

The brief backs Trump’s request to overturn several nationwide preliminary injunctions issued by federal district courts.

These injunctions have stopped the Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship order from going into effect for now. Skrmetti’s filing says that courts should interpret the Fourteenth Amendment’s Citizenship Clause based on its “original public meaning.”

He also warns against judicial overreach, which he says upsets the balance of powers in the Constitution.

“Courts are empowered by the Constitution to resolve cases and controversies, not to issue sweeping policy proclamations or manage the executive branch,” Attorney General Skrmetti said in a statement. “Undermining the sovereignty of the American people through judicial overreach threatens to alienate the people from our constitutional system and thereby cause grievous harm to liberty and public order.”

In his 25-page brief, Skrmetti stresses the need for judges to be careful and asks the Supreme Court to clarify the Citizenship Clause for the first time in modern times. He uses historical records from the time of Reconstruction to show that the people who wrote the Fourteenth Amendment did not mean for children of foreigners living in the U.S. illegally to become citizens.

Skrmetti also didn’t like how lower courts have been issuing more and more nationwide injunctions lately. These, he said, interfere with the separation of powers and make broad national policies from the bench. He talked about how court-ordered policies had hurt Tennessee and other states in the past, especially when it came to immigration and education.

Rising immigration levels have strained resources and increased public safety concerns in Tennessee and other interior states, according to the brief.

Citing U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Skrmetti notes that more than nine million illegal immigrants have entered the country in recent years, with many settling in non-border states.

Skrmetti contends that these trends are not only untenable but also intensified by an expansive interpretation of the Citizenship Clause, which fosters incentives for unlawful border crossings.

9 Signs of Diabetes That Appear at Night: What You Need to Know!

Do you know the signs of diabetes that can appear at night? Understanding the symptoms of this common but serious health problem can make all the difference. Today, we explore the subtle but significant signs of diabetes that often appear during the night.

1. Frequent Urination

One of the first symptoms of diabetes is often increased urination. If you wake up several times during the night to empty your bladder, your sleep pattern may be disrupted, and this could be a sign of diabetes. When you have diabetes, excess sugar, or glucose, builds up in your bloodstream. Your kidneys have to work harder to filter and absorb this excess sugar.

If the kidneys can’t keep up, the extra glucose is excreted in the urine, dragging fluid from your tissues, and increasing urination frequency.

2. Night Sweats

Night sweats are another relevant symptom to consider. If you frequently wake up in the middle of the night sweating, it could be a sign of diabetes. Night sweats usually occur due to low blood sugar levels at night, known as nocturnal hypoglycemia.

To properly manage night sweats when you have diabetes, it is essential to adjust your medication dosage and dietary habits, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

3. Symptoms of Hypoglycemia

For illustrative purposes only.

Symptoms of hypoglycemia are not limited to sweating and trembling but also include a noticeable increase in hunger, mental confusion, blurred vision, and even heart palpitations. They can occur at night, as the body’s energy needs at rest are critical.

To manage these symptoms, it’s essential to regularly monitor blood sugar levels and maintain a balanced diet.

4. Restless Legs Syndrome

Restless legs syndrome is an often underestimated but common neurological disorder. This disorder is characterized by an irresistible urge to move the legs, accompanied by uncomfortable sensations such as aches and pains or tickling. The link between this syndrome and diabetes lies at the nerve level.

Persistently high blood sugar levels, a characteristic of diabetes, can damage nerves over time, a condition known as peripheral neuropathy. Damaged nerves send conflicting signals to the brain, triggering the need to constantly move your legs.

5. Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea, characterized by frequent pauses in breathing during sleep, is another potential sign of diabetes. These interruptions in breathing can occur multiple times throughout the night, leading to fatigue the next day.

Obesity is a key factor linking these two conditions. Excess fat around the neck can obstruct the airway, leading to apnea. Additionally, metabolic disturbances due to diabetes, such as insulin resistance, can also influence the development of sleep apnea.

6. Increased Thirst

For illustrative purposes only.

If you frequently wake up at night with a dry mouth and experience excessive thirst, this could be a telltale sign of diabetes, called polydipsia. When blood sugar levels are high, your kidneys work harder to filter out excess sugar. Excess sugar is excreted in the urine along with fluids from your tissues, causing frequent urination and dehydration, leading to increased thirst.

To manage this symptom, it is essential to control blood sugar levels through regular monitoring, a balanced diet, physical activity, and, if necessary, medication prescribed by a healthcare professional.

7. Fatigue

Persistent fatigue despite adequate sleep may indicate diabetes. This fatigue results from the body’s inability to efficiently use glucose as an energy source. In the absence of adequate insulin or the presence of insulin resistance, cells do not receive the necessary glucose, resulting in constant fatigue.

Managing this fatigue involves stabilizing blood sugar levels through regular physical activity, a healthy diet, and regular check-ups with a healthcare professional.

8. Dry Mouth

Xerostomia, or dry mouth, is another symptom to watch for. Characterized by a lack of saliva, it can wake people up frequently, even with adequate hydration. High blood sugar levels can reduce saliva production, leading to dry mouth.

To manage this symptom, it’s important to maintain good oral hygiene, drink enough water, and use products that stimulate saliva production, such as sugar-free gum or candy.

9. Sleep Disorders

Sleep disturbances, such as insomnia, are common in people with diabetes due to poor blood sugar regulation, causing nighttime hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. Hypoglycemia can cause sweating and trembling that can wake you up, while hyperglycemia can cause frequent urination, disrupting sleep.

Manage these disorders by maintaining stable blood sugar levels through medication, dietary adjustments, and exercise. Therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy can also help treat insomnia.

This Is One Of The Most Can.cer-Causing Foods – Stop Eating It!

If you take a closer look at what goes into hot dogs and how they are made, you may be surprised to learn that this popular food comes with hidden health risks.

There’s no denying that there’s nothing natural about  frankfurters, as they’re a nutritionally depleted processed food. Factories produce them in a highly automated manner at an astonishing rate of 300,000  hot dogs per hour.

Hot dogs are made from a combination of pork, beef, and chicken. The production process involves using leftover cuts from steaks and pork chops, along with “edible” slaughter byproducts such as feet, heads, fatty tissue, and even animal hides.

These ingredients are ground into a thick paste, after which a variety of additives are incorporated to enhance flavor. This includes large amounts of salt, corn syrup, MSG, nitrates, and other chemicals.

For illustrative purposes only.

Flavorings differ by region based on local tastes.

Among them are MSG and carmine, a coloring agent derived from crushed beetles that have been boiled in ammonia or sodium carbonate. Notably, the Department of Agriculture does not require manufacturers to disclose flavorings on labels, allowing for a wide range of undisclosed ingredients.

Studies have also linked processed meats, including hot dogs, to serious health risks. Research from the University of Hawaii found that consuming processed meats increases the risk of pancreatic can.cer by 67%.

One of the most concerning additives in hot dogs is nitrates and nitrites. Even organic hot dogs can contain high levels of these compounds. When exposed to high heat, they react with amines in processed meat to form nitrosamines—chemicals associated with an increased risk of several can.cers, including bladder, pancreatic, colon, and stomach can.cer.

For illustrative purposes only.

According to the American Institute for Can.cer Research, eating just one hot dog per day raises the risk of colorectal can.cer by 21%.

The video below provides an inside look at the hot dog-producing process.

15 True Events So Disturbing They Defy All Logic

Reality can be more disturbing than any fiction ever depicted. This collection shows together real-life stories that can make you surprising.

What may seem like basic occurrences at first quickly unravel into something far more creepy. From puzzling encounters to haunting turns of fate, these tales challenge everything we think we know.

Story 1:

For a while, I had a string of weird wrong-number calls. The most memorable was a call I got at about 11 p.m. I was asleep, so I answered it and couldn’t figure out what was going on. It was loud, but it sounded like several people were making noise.

When I woke up enough to hear for real, it sounded like a very mournful barbershop quartet singing—no words, just a long “oooooooh” going up and down the scale in a minor key. It was super depressing and weird, and I hung up.

I can still remember the part of the tune I heard. It was weird, and the number was restricted when I went back to look at it. © Unknown author / Reddit

I lost two hours of my day once. I was getting ready for college, and my dad was going to drop me off, so he was there too.

We were watching the news, and it froze. We turned the TV off and on to get it working again, and in that time, two hours had passed.

So either we both slept without realizing it, or something weird happened. I think we crossed into another dimension, personally. © FailingDegree91 / Reddit

Story 4:

My 5-year-old stepson likes to tell me about his other life when he had a different name and didn’t live with us. He will randomly share bits of information about this past life, and I’m always unsettled by it—especially because the names of places or people are ones we’ve never talked about or used around him.

He’s told me he lived in California, in a city that had a T at the beginning and an A at the end (I looked it up; there are like two). He’s mentioned several times that he misses driving his red sports car on the beach. We live on the East Coast and have never been to California or taken him to a beach.

He’s also talked about coming home to find his new kitten had escaped from his apartment. He described her, told me her name, and talked about how sad it still makes him sometimes. © AnxiousOwlette / Reddit

I retried three times, but I 100% could not type what I knew I wanted to. It wouldn’t even come out as words. I have no idea why this happened, but after I took a walk, I was fine. © ValorFiend / Reddit

I woke up at 3 a.m. to 12 missed calls from my mom and a text saying, “I got robbed! Come fast!” I rushed to her house.

When I arrived, Mom said, “I didn’t send you a text!” I showed her my phone. Her color suddenly drained and she went inside. When she came back, she was holding her phone. She showed me an unsent text to my number.

She said, “I wrote this, but I never sent it. I changed my mind at the last second.” The message read: “Honey, be careful! I just saw on the news that your town is in danger. There have been several robberies near your house.”
I froze. If she hadn’t sent the text… then who had? And the missed calls—if they weren’t from her, who had been calling me? I made sure she was safe, stayed for about an hour, then drove home.

When I arrived, my front door was open. A sinking feeling settled in my gut. Inside, my house had been ransacked—several of my things were gone. Somebody had broken in.

To this day, I still get chills thinking about it. Was it just a bizarre coincidence? Or had someone gained access to my mom’s phone to lure me away? I was so shaken that I sold the house and moved out a few weeks later.

Story 15:

My affluent boyfriend purposely rented an apartment that appeared modest, all to test my loyalty

I met Jack a year ago when I spilled my iced latte all over his papers at a coffee shop. Instead of getting mad, he smiled and said, “Guess this is fate telling me to take a break.” He told me he worked in logistics for a small company. We ended up talking for hours, hit it off, and started dating.

Jack always insisted we spend time at his tiny, worn-down studio — scuffed walls, mismatched furniture, and a heater that barely worked. He’d light dollar-store candles, cook dinner on a single hot plate, and I swear, his ratty old couch was the comfiest thing ever. It wasn’t about the space — it was about him.

We hit our one-year anniversary, and Jack promised me a surprise. When I walked out of my building, I froze. Jack was leaning against this sleek, luxury car, holding a huge bouquet of red roses.

“Happy anniversary,” he said, grinning as he handed me the flowers and kissed me.

“Whose car is this?” I asked, completely stunned.

His smile shifted, a little nervous now. “It’s mine,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I think… now’s the time.”

That’s when he dropped the bombshell. He was the heir to a multi-million-dollar family business. The shabby studio? A carefully planned test to see if I loved him for him — not his money.

Then he got down on one knee, pulling out a velvet box. “Will you marry me?”

For illustrative purposes only.

Most people would say yes right away, but I had a secret too. I smiled, took the car keys out of his hand, and said, “Let me drive. If what I show you doesn’t scare you off, my answer will be yes.”

Jack looked confused but handed me the keys. “Okay…?”

“Trust me. You’re not the only one with secrets.”, I said with a grin.

I drove us past the quiet suburbs, and straight toward a set of iron gates so tall they practically touched the sky.

“Uh… where are we going?”

“Remember how I told you I grew up in a ‘modest’ house?” I asked innocently.

“Yeah?”

“I may have stretched the definition of ‘modest’ just a tiny bit.”

I punched in a code, and the gates silently swung open, revealing a massive estate with pristine gardens, towering fountains, and even a freaking hedge maze.

Jack turned to me, eyes wide. “Giselle… what the hell?”

I parked, and turned to him with a grin. “Welcome to my childhood home.”

He blinked. Then blinked again. “You’re rich?”

“Very.”

Jack’s mouth opened, “So… you were testing ME while I was testing YOU?”

I nodded. “Looks like it.”

“Wait,” he said, a realization dawning on his face. “All those times you acted impressed by my hot plate cooking…”

“Oh, that wasn’t acting. I was genuinely amazed anyone could make edible food on that thing.”

Jack burst out laughing.

For illustrative purposes only.

“We are ridiculous,” he said, shaking his head. “I was out here trying to see if you were a gold digger, and you,” he gestured to the mansion behind me. “You had a palace this whole time?”

“Basically.” I smirked. “Guess we both passed the test.”

Jack leaned back in his seat, still chuckling. “So, does this mean your answer is yes?”

I tapped my chin, pretending to think. “Hmm. I guess I’ll marry you!”

He pulled me into a kiss. “You’re impossible.”

“And you love it.”

Six months later, we got married in a small but stunning ceremony. The wedding was perfect, except for one minor detail: our families would not shut up about how we “tricked” each other.

“I still can’t believe you ate instant ramen for a year,” my mother whispered during the reception. “You don’t even like ramen!”

“The things we do for love, Mom,” I whispered back, watching Jack charm my grandmother on the dance floor.

Jack’s dad nearly choked on his champagne from laughing so hard. “You two hid your wealth from each other for an entire year? That’s some next-level commitment.”

“Remember when you visited Jack’s fake apartment?” his sister chimed in. “He spent three hours strategically placing water stains on the ceiling!”

“You did what?” I turned to Jack, who suddenly became very interested in his cake.

My mother sighed dramatically. “I raised you better than this, Giselle. What kind of normal person pretends to be broke?”

Jack and I just exchanged a look.

“We’re insane,” he whispered.

“But perfectly matched!” I grinned.

And at the end of the day, that was all that mattered.

Some months after our wedding, Jack and I were lounging on his (real) luxury couch, scrolling through apartments to buy together.

“You know what I miss?” he said suddenly, looking nostalgic.

“If you say that d-eath trap couch —”

“Martha would be heartbroken to hear that.”

“Martha tried to impale me with a spring!”

He kissed my forehead, chuckling. “I love you!”

“I love you too,” I smiled. “Even if you are a terrible actor who thought a hot plate made your poverty story more believable.”

“Hey, that hot plate performance was Oscar-worthy!” he laughed.

And just like that, we were back to being us.

Two ridiculous people who found each other in the most unexpected way, proving that sometimes the best love stories aren’t about wealth or status… they’re about two people who can laugh at themselves, keep each other’s secrets, and fall in love over instant ramen, broken heaters, and a dusty old couch adorned with patchwork.

An Elderly Lady Put Her Cheeky Daughter in Her Place, Who Decided to Use Her As a Free Babysitter for The Kids

The Reality of Parenthood and Expectations from Family

Deciding to become parents comes with a deep understanding of the responsibilities involved. Raising a child can be challenging, inconvenient, and far from lonely. While many parents hope for support from friends and family—especially their parents—it’s important to recognize that this help isn’t always ready.

A Viral Reddit Story

A widely shared post on Reddit sparked a debate:

A new mother reached out to her mom for help with childcare so she could return to work after her maternity leave. Her mother, now 64, had been a homemaker since 1992 and had not been part of the workforce since then.

However, she declined, stating that she had already raised her children and was not willing to take on the responsibility again. She also suggested that if her daughter truly wanted a baby, she should consider staying home as she had done, allowing her partner to be the sole provider—just like a “traditional” family.

For this mother, staying home was not financially viable. As the primary breadwinner, she needed to return to work to support their small family. Living in a one-bedroom apartment in an expensive city, she and her partner were already struggling to save for a larger space for their growing child.

When she explained their situation, her mother offered to babysit—but only at a rate of $20 per hour, with additional late fees if they picked up the baby late.

On top of that, she required a car seat, stroller, bottles, and duplicates of everything the baby had at home.

Faced with these demands, the mother started considering infant daycare instead, which would be more affordable and located closer to their home. With both parents working full-time and no other family members available to help, they found themselves in a difficult situation.

She ended her post by questioning whether she was wrong for expecting her stay-at-home mother—who spends most of her day watching TV and cooking—to provide free childcare while she and her partner worked to improve their financial situation.

This story resonated with many, highlighting the complexities of generational expectations, financial struggles, and the challenges of balancing work and parenting.

5 early signs of can.cer growth in the body

Cancer is a severe disease that often grows silently, with symptoms appearing only in advanced stages. However, the body can show early alert signs that, if recognized early, can lead to earlier detection and better treatment outcomes.

Here are five early signs of canc.er growth that require medical attention.

1. Unexpected weight loss

A sudden, unpredicted weight loss of 10 pounds or more without changes in diet or exercise could be an early sign of can.cer. This happens because can.cer cells ru:in the body’s metabolism, causing the body to burn more energy than usual.

Possible cancers associated with unexplained weight loss:

  • Stomach, pancreas, or liver can.cer (affects digestion and metabolism)
  • Lung or esophageal can.cer (which interferes with swallowing and appetite)
  • Bl00d can.cers (leukemia, lymphoma) (which affect metabolism and immune function)

2. Constant fatigue and weakness

Feeling constantly tired out even after getting enough rest could be a war.ning sign of can.cer. Unlike normal fatigue, can.cer-related fatigue is constant, serious, and doesn’t enhance with sleep or rest.

Possible can.cers related to fatigue:

  • Leukemia and lymphoma (affecting blood cell production and oxygen delivery)
  • Colon or stomach cancer (causing slow internal bleeding and leading to anemia)
  • Liver can.cer (affecting detoxification and metabolism)

3. Changes in the skin

The skin can show early caution signs of internal can.cer. Any mole, lump, or skin discoloration that appears or changes over time should be examined.

Possible skin changes to watch out for:

  • Unusual moles that are awry, have uneven borders, or change in color and size (probable signs of melanoma)
  • Constantsores that do not heal (may imply skin can.cer)
  • Yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice) (related to liver or pancreatic can.cer)
  • Dark spots or excessive itching (may be related to cancer of internal organs)

4. Persistent pain that doesn’t depart

😭 Chronic Pain vs Persistent Pain 😣 - Specialised Health

Chronic pain without an obvious cause can be an early signal of cancer. Cancer-related pain doesn’t improve with rest or medication and may gradually worsen over time.

Possible cancers related to persistent pain:

  • Bone can.cer (causing deep bone pain or fractures)
  • Brain tumors (causing persistent headaches, nausea, and vision problems)
  • Ovarian or colorectal can.cer (causing pelvic or abdominal pain)
  • Lung can.cer (causing chest pain and discomfort)

If pain continues for weeks without improvement or is along with other symptoms, meet a doctor.

5. Unusual lumps or swelling

The appearance of a lump, swelling, or thickening of tissue anywhere in the body should never be ignored. Cancerous lumps are usually hard, painless, and grow over time.

Possible can.cers related to lumps and swelling:

  • Breast can.cer (lump in the breast or armpit)
  • Testicular can.cer (lump in the testicle)
  • Throat or thyroid can.cer (lump in the neck)
  • Lymphoma (swollen lymph nodes in the armpits, groin, or neck)

Conclusion

Early detection is essential to successful can.cer treatment. If you deal with unexplained weight loss, persistent fatigue, skin changes, chronic pain, or unusual lumps, seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Trump Turns Heads Over Unexpected Answer To If JD Vance Will Be His Successor in 2028

President Trump isn’t ready to say whether Vice President JD Vance will be his pick to carry the torch for the Republican Party in the 2028 election.

During an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, recorded ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, Trump, 78, was asked directly about Vance’s political future.

“Do you see Vice President JD Vance as your successor, the Republican nominee in 2028?” Baier asked.

Trump didn’t commit.

“No, but he’s very capable,” Trump replied, before adding, “I think you have a lot of very capable people. So far, I think he’s doing a fantastic job. It’s too early. We’re just starting.”

Baier pressed further, noting that by the time midterm elections roll around, Vance will likely be seeking Trump’s endorsement.

Trump didn’t take the bait, instead shifting focus to his administration’s early successes.

“Many people have said that this has been the greatest opening—almost three weeks—in the history of the presidency,” he said.

The interview clip aired Monday afternoon, just as Vice President Vance, 40, arrived in France with his family for his first international trip in office.

Vance Takes on Foreign Policy

Vance is in Europe for a key diplomatic mission, beginning with an artificial intelligence summit in Paris before heading to the Munich Security Conference in Germany later this week. His role in foreign policy will likely shape his future political trajectory, particularly if he does have his sights set on a presidential bid down the line.

Trump’s reluctance to immediately endorse Vance may be a strategic move. Publicly anointing a successor now could shift attention away from his own presidency, while also highlighting the reality that, per the Constitution, he cannot serve beyond January 2029.

Trump has often joked about changing that rule, frequently musing about a third term. While those comments are typically made in jest, they serve as a reminder that he intends to maintain his influence long after leaving office.

Vance’s Rise in the GOP

Vance, among the youngest vice presidents in U.S. history, was Trump’s pick for the ticket last July—a choice largely driven by Donald Trump Jr.’s strong support.

Before stepping into the national spotlight, Vance was a U.S. senator from Ohio, a venture capitalist, and the author of Hillbilly Elegy, a memoir that was adapted into a Netflix film. His background and alignment with Trump’s populist agenda made him a natural fit for the administration.

However, history shows that sitting presidents don’t always back their vice presidents for the next election cycle. Barack Obama notably discouraged Joe Biden from running in 2016, instead paving the way for Hillary Clinton’s ill-fated campaign.

But as 2028 inches closer, Vance—like many others in the Republican Party—will be looking for Trump’s blessing. The question is, will he get it?

‘The View’ Hosts In Hot Water After ABC Gives Them This Warning

Tensions are running high behind the scenes at ABC’s daytime talk show “The View” as co-hosts reportedly face pressure to ease up on their attacks against President Trump. The push for a softer approach comes as ABC undergoes significant staff layoffs, creating a tense atmosphere among the show’s production team.

According to an insider, the show’s executive producer, Brian Teta, has asked the panel—Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro—to tread carefully when discussing the 47th president. The directive reportedly came in the weeks leading up to Trump’s inauguration, signaling a shift in ABC’s handling of political discourse.

While “The View” continues to draw in an impressive 2.6 million viewers in the last four weeks, the mood behind the scenes is anything but celebratory. At least nine staff members, including veteran producers Jamie Hammer and Audrey Jones, were let go in a cost-cutting move. One insider described the decision as “shocking” and said morale has plummeted as employees worry about further cuts.

“There’s a sense of unease. People feel like they’re waiting for the next round of firings,” the source revealed. ABC’s layoffs are part of a broader restructuring effort by parent company Disney, which has been slashing jobs since last October.

Turf War Behind the Scenes

Beyond the political tensions, the cast of “The View” is also unhappy with their new studio setup. Since ABC relocated the show to its downtown Hudson Square headquarters, the co-hosts have been forced to share studio space with “The Tamron Hall Show,” leading to a clash over dressing rooms and taping schedules.

An insider revealed that the ladies of “The View” are frustrated that their high-profile guests must now share dressing areas with those from Hall’s show. The arrangement has led to scheduling headaches, with both programs vying for studio time.

“Tamron Hall thinks she’s Oprah,” the insider claimed. “She makes big demands, but at the end of the day, ‘The View’ is the network’s priority.”

However, not everyone is complaining. Another source familiar with the situation applauded both teams for working together seamlessly despite the challenges.

Staff Unhappy with ABC’s Relocation

ABC’s move to Hudson Square hasn’t just irritated “The View” hosts—it’s also been a nightmare for staffers. Employees are dealing with cramped workspaces, limited office supplies, and frustrating commutes through traffic-clogged streets near the Holland Tunnel.

“The new office is basic at best. Not enough space, no private executive suites, and barely enough desks,” one insider griped. However, a network spokesperson pushed back on that characterization, insisting there are “plenty of desks” and calling the building “gorgeous.”

Despite these reassurances, one thing is clear: tensions at ABC are far from settled.

A More Cautious Approach to Trump

With job security on the line, “The View” co-hosts appear to be rethinking their approach to Trump-related discussions. Last month, Sara Haines openly admitted she felt out of touch with the show’s audience because she and her fellow panelists didn’t support Trump.

Meanwhile, Alyssa Farah Griffin, who once worked for Trump but later endorsed Kamala Harris, recently clashed with Whoopi Goldberg over the need to engage with conservative voters. “Democrats have to be willing to go to uncomfortable spaces,” Griffin said, acknowledging that she agreed with some of Trump’s policies.

For now, “The View” is at a crossroads. Will it continue its historically aggressive stance against Trump, or will ABC’s shake-ups force a change in tone? One thing’s for sure—the drama isn’t just playing out in front of the cameras.

Joshua Riibe ‘detained again’ amid search for Sudiksha Konanki

Joshua Riibe, the last person seen with missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki, was detained once again while traveling back to the United States—this time in Puerto Rico—due to an issue with his travel documents.

The Iowa native was stopped by airport officials at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport while attempting to board a connecting flight home. According to local news outlet Noticias Sin, authorities flagged his paperwork because his temporary travel documents from the Dominican Republic had not been properly stamped.

Riibe’s father, Albert, appeared visibly frustrated when speaking to reporters at the airport. “I’m just a dad who had his son taken away… We just spent two weeks trying to stay together,” he told news cameras.

This latest delay comes just after a Dominican judge officially allowed Riibe to leave the country. After a nearly five-hour hearing on Tuesday, Judge Elvis Delgado ruled that the 22-year-old was free to return home.

Dominican authorities had previously confiscated his passport and restricted his movement while questioning him multiple times about Konanki’s disappearance.

During the hearing, Riibe pleaded with the court, saying, “I really want to be able to go home, talk to my family, give them hugs, tell them I miss them,” according to Dominican news outlet Noticias SIN. “I understand I’m here to help, but it’s been ten days and I can’t leave.”

Sudiksha Konanki. Credit: FOX 5.

Despite being named a person of interest by authorities in Loudoun County, Virginia—where Konanki’s family lives—Riibe has not been charged with any crime, nor have Dominican officials declared him a suspect.

The Night of Konanki’s Disappearance

Sudiksha Konanki, 20, was last seen at approximately 4:15 a.m. on March 6, when surveillance footage captured her walking toward the beach at the RIU Hotel and Resort in Punta Cana. She was on a spring break trip with friends, and security cameras showed her linking arms with Riibe as part of a group heading toward the water, according to The Mirror US.

Most of the group was seen leaving the beach around 5:55 a.m., but Riibe was later spotted returning to his hotel room alone—without Konanki.

In recent days, her devastated parents have requested that authorities officially declare their daughter deceased, stating that they believe she drowned in the rough ocean waves that morning. They have also made it clear that they do not suspect Riibe of wrongdoing.

“Both sides of the authorities have shown us how high the ocean waves were at the time of the incident, and both sides have clarified that the person of interest was never a suspect,” said her father, Subbarayudu Konanki, in a statement to The New York Post.

“It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we are coming to terms with the fact our daughter has drowned,” he added.

Riibe’s Account of That Night

Riibe, a student at St. Cloud State College in Minnesota, told investigators that he and Konanki had been drinking on the beach and kissing in waist-deep water when a powerful tide swept them further out to sea. A former lifeguard, Riibe said he managed to pull Konanki back to shore, but after vomiting from exhaustion, he assumed she had gathered her belongings and left. He later expressed shock upon learning that she was missing.

However, Private Investigator, T.J. Ward, told News Nation Now that he doesn’t believe the student drowned.

“I don’t believe that she drowned. I think something else happened,” said Ward, who has worked on various high-profile missing cases, including that of Natalie Holloway in 2005.

“It’s way too early. I don’t believe she drowned,” he said.

Ward worked on Holloway’s case for 18 years. Now, he said he contacted Konanki’s mother, offering to get involved as a private investigator.

“This case is going to stay active until they find some evidence to move forward,” Ward said. “I think something else happened.”

Dominican officials have interviewed more than 50 people in connection with the case but maintain that Riibe was never officially detained, only questioned as a witness.

His father, Albert, has voiced frustration over how long the process has taken. “Enough,” he reportedly told the judge. “It’s been 12 days.”

Judge Delgado ultimately granted Riibe permission to leave, stating, “The law is the law.”

As the search for Konanki continues, her family remains focused on finding answers—while also trying to process their devastating loss.

Cops warn parents about the hidden meaning behind the horse emoji

Being a parent in today’s digital age comes with a whole new set of challenges.

With kids glued to their screens and social media evolving at lightning speed, it’s harder than ever to keep up with what they’re really saying online.

Now, police are warning parents to be on the lookout for a seemingly innocent emoji that could signal something much darker.

The secret language of emojis

Social media and messaging apps have become the primary way kids communicate, but many don’t realize the dangers that come with it. Every child using the internet deserves a safe experience and easy access to online safety resources — but unfortunately, that’s not the reality in today’s world.

From online predators to radical ideologies, children are more vulnerable than ever.

Now, authorities have revealed that certain emojis are being used as secret codewords among young people, and one in particular has raised serious concerns— the horse emoji 🐴.

What the horse emoji really means

While most parents might assume their kid is talking about ponies, the horse emoji is actually being used to reference ketamine, a powerful tranquilizer drug. Ketamine, also known as “Special K,” is increasingly being abused by teens and young adults for its hallucinogenic effects.

The warning comes as law enforcement agencies across the U.S. crack down on hidden drug references being used in online chats and text messages. Police are urging parents to monitor their kids’ digital activity and be aware of the secret meanings behind common emojis.

More emojis parents need to watch for

It’s not just the horse emoji that has a hidden meaning. Police have also released a list of emojis frequently used to reference drugs, including:

  • Alien, skull, or demon mask – MDMA (Ecstasy or “Molly”)
  • Snowflake or snowman – Cocaine
  • Maple leaf, tree, or four-leaf clover – Marijuana
  • Cake, ice cream, or certain fruits (grapes, lemons, cherries) – Edibles or cannabis products

The list doesn’t stop at drug references either. The popular Netflix series Adolescence recently exposed how the manosphere and incel movements have their own emoji-based code system.

The hit Netflix drama Adolescence has brought attention to the rise of misogynistic online influencers who target young boys.

The show follows a 13-year-old boy who becomes radicalized by manosphere content, ultimately leading to a tragic act of violence.

In the show, emojis are used as secret symbols for incel culture, including:

  • Dynamite emoji – A symbol for incels, meaning an “exploding red pill”
  • 100 emoji – A reference to the “80/20 rule,” a belief that only 20% of men attract 80% of women
  • Kidney bean emoji – Used to call someone an incel

Experts warn that the manosphere, a collection of toxic online communities promoting extreme misogyny and anti-feminist ideologies, is drawing in young boys at an alarming rate. Social media platforms have made it easier for these messages to spread, making it crucial for parents to stay informed.

In an article for The Conversation, Dr. Robert Lawson, a sociolinguistics expert from Birmingham City University in the UK, explains how the pill emoji (💊) has been adopted by the movement.

In the film, taking the red pill allows characters to uncover ‘the truth’ and break free from the illusions of the Matrix.

”The cyberpunk blockbuster The Matrix is the source of a key symbol in the manosphere – the red pill,” he said.

Within the manosphere, Dr. Lawson noted that men who claim to be ‘red-pilled’ believe they have awakened to the so-called ‘real’ nature of women’s behavior and dating preferences.

What parents can do

As digital culture evolves, so do the ways kids communicate. While emojis might seem harmless, they can hold hidden meanings that parents need to be aware of. Here’s what parents can do:

  • Stay informed – Keep up with the latest trends in online slang and emoji meanings.
  • Have open conversations – Talk to your kids about the dangers of online radicalization and drug use.
  • Monitor digital activity – Keep an eye on your child’s social media interactions without invading their privacy.
  • Use parental controls – Many apps have built-in tools to help filter harmful content.

The internet can be a powerful tool, but it also comes with risks.

Staying educated and proactive is the best way to keep kids safe in an online world that’s constantly changing. Share this article to inform other parents!

In 1965 an unforgettable warning was broadcast for all to hear: 54 years later, it’s sadly come true

Paul Harvey, the news commentator and talk-radio pioneer whose staccato style made him one of the United States’ most familiar voices, reached more than 24 million listeners at the peak of his career.

Although he was very accurate on everything he had to say, no one could imagine that his famous words from 54 years ago would become the reality of today.

I read this today and thought how relevant it is.

The speech was broadcast by legendary ABC Radio commentator Paul Harvey on  April 3, 1965.

He starts his ‘prophesy’ by saying: If I were the Devil… and then continues discussing issues that are these days ours to face.

Facebook / Paul Harvey

EVERYBODY should listen to this. Sad to say but Paul Harvey was spot on 54 years ago.

”If I Were the Devil If I were the Prince of Darkness I would want to engulf the whole earth in darkness.

I’d have a third of its real estate and four-fifths of its population, but I would not be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree.

So I should set about however necessary, to take over the United States.

I would begin with a campaign of whispers.

With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whispers to you as I whispered to Eve, “Do as you please.”

To the young I would whisper “The Bible is a myth.” I would convince them that “man created God,” instead of the other way around. I would confide that “what is bad is good and what is good is square.”

In the ears of the young married I would whisper that work is debasing, that cocktail parties are good for you. I would caution them not to be “extreme” in religion, in patriotism, in moral conduct.

And the old I would teach to pray — to say after me — “Our father which are in Washington.”

Then I’d get organized.

I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull, uninteresting.

I’d threaten TV with dirtier movies, and vice-versa.

I’d infiltrate unions and urge more loafing, less work. Idle hands usually work for me.

I’d peddle narcotics to whom I could, I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction, I’d tranquilize the rest with pills.

If I were the Devil, I would encourage schools to refine young intellects, but neglect to discipline emotions; let those run wild.

I’d designate an atheist to front for me before the highest courts and I’d get preachers to say, “She’s right.”

With flattery and promises of power I would get the courts to vote against God and in favor of pornography.

Thus I would evict God from the courthouse, then from the schoolhouse, then from the Houses of Congress.

Then in his own churches I’d substitute psychology for religion and deify science.

If I were Satan I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg

And the symbol of Christmas a bottle.

If I were the Devil I’d take from those who have and give to those who wanted until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. Then my police state would force everybody back to work.

Then I would separate families, putting children in uniform, women in coal mines and objectors in slave-labor camps.

If I were Satan I’d just keep doing what I’m doing and the whole world go to hell as sure as the Devil”

I use to listen to Paul Harvey with my mom in the 70s. He is very accurate on everything he says. All the things he mentioned 54 years ago are exactly what’s going on NOW!

Incredible man, Incredible insight. Share this if you agree.

Trump, Hegseth Make Big Announcement from Oval Office

President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made a big announcement on Friday about a major breakthrough with the U.S. military.

While speaking from the Oval Office, Trump announced the U.S. military’s next high-tech fighter jet.

Trump not only announces that Boeing has won the contract for “the world’s first six generation fighter jet,” the F-47, he says it’s “been flying for five years.” The president called the F-47 “a good size plane,” adding that “perhaps” some allies will be able to purchase them. Trump said this plane “does not fly by itself” and the F-47 flies with drones “as many as we want.”

“The F-47 will be the most advanced, most capable, most lethal aircraft ever built. An experimental version of the plane has secretly been flying for almost 5 years and we’re confident that it massively overpowers the capabilities of any other nation,” Trump declared.

“This is a big day for our warfighters. This is a big day for our country, a big day in the world … America is going to have generations in the future of air dominance because of this sixth-generation fighter,” Hegseth said.

Trump also spoke about the release of the JFK files.

“I don’t think there’s anything that’s Earth-shattering but you’ll have to make that determination,” Trump said of JFK files when asked who killed President Kennedy. “Everything is out there, completely open.”

President Trump, when asked if he could reveal who killed JFK, said the public should review the unredacted files he released and decide for themselves.

He insisted he has nothing to hide and doesn’t believe the documents contain anything shocking—but left it to the people to… pic.twitter.com/sfzzkBop7q

Three months into his second term, President Trump reached the highest approval rating of his presidency, while more Americans believe the country is on the right track than at any point since 2004, according to a new NBC News poll released Sunday.

However, the bad news is that Trump still has not garnered the support of a majority of Americans. In fact, 54% of respondents disapprove of his handling of the economy, marking the first time he has lost a majority on this issue in NBC’s polling.

“Even so, the survey found that voters generally feel Trump is bringing ‘the right kind of change’ on the key issues — even tariffs,” the New York Post reported, citing the NBC News survey. “More Americans support his changes to trade policy (41%) than oppose them (38%), according to NBC.”

NBC poll respondents seem to be giving Trump some leeway on inflation: 40% said his policies are having a positive effect, while 30% believe they’re having a negative impact, and 28% feel Trump’s policies aren’t making any difference, The Post said.

The poll also highlights how Trump remains a polarizing figure, with his approval rating among Republicans at a solid 90%, compared to just 4% among Democrats. This marks the largest gap in approval ratings between a president’s own party and the opposition party in the past 80 years, according to NBC.

Overall, 47% of voters approve of Trump, while 51% disapprove, marking an all-time high in the poll. He had previously reached 47% approval in early 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, and again in October 2018.

NBC’s findings align with most other polling, with RealClearPolitics’ latest aggregate showing Trump with an average 48.2% approval rating, The Post noted.

Trump’s approval is notably higher than it was at this stage in his first term (44%), according to RCP, though still below where former President Joe Biden stood at the same point (53%).

In a positive sign for Trump, NBC News also found that 44% of registered voters believe the country is on the right track, the highest in two decades, while 54% feel it’s heading in the wrong direction.

While still largely pessimistic, this marks the most optimistic outlook on the country’s direction in the poll since President George W. Bush was in office 20 years ago.

This represents a dramatic shift from the previous administration. Last September, only 28% of polled voters told NBC News they believed the country was on the right track, while 65% felt it was headed in the wrong direction.

One of Trump’s most significant actions in his second term was the establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a move that has sparked protests from government workers and strong criticism from Democrats.

While the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) remains unpopular (47% negative to 41% positive), voters generally view it as a good idea, with 46% in favor and 40% against, The Post’s report continued.

Trump has firmly supported DOGE and Elon Musk despite political backlash over the cost-cutting initiative, which aims to reduce the federal deficit.

In a notable positive for Trump, the favorability of Democrats is at a dismal 27%, with 55% holding a negative view of the party, marking the lowest ratings for Democrats in NBC News’ polling history.

A similar result was found in a CNN poll, which also recorded the lowest favorability rating for Democrats in its polling history, with only 29% viewing the party favorably, said The Post.

Trump Admin Revokes ‘Parole’ Biden Granted To 500,000 Migrants

The Department of Homeland Security announced this week that it is revoking the legally questionable “parole” status that former President Joe Biden granted to more than 500,000 unauthorized migrants over the past three years, setting a 30-day deadline for them to leave the U.S.

Biden’s CHNV program had allowed individuals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to enter the country despite lacking a legal visa.

However, more than two years into the program, the Trump administration claimed that the initiative had failed to meet its objectives, was plagued by fraud, and was no longer necessary.

“Accordingly, [Secretary Kristi Noem], in her discretion, is terminating the CHNV parole programs,” the department said in a new filing in the Federal Register, as reported by the Washington Times.

Biden launched the CHNV program amid a historic surge at the southern border, hoping that by offering migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela a legal pathway into the U.S., they would opt to fly in rather than overwhelm Border Patrol agents already struggling with record numbers, the Times reported.

The program required migrants to secure a U.S.-based sponsor and arrive through an airport, not the border. However, the sponsorship process quickly became chaotic. According to The Washington Times, gang members were serving as sponsors in some instances, while in others, fraudsters were selling sponsorships for up to $5,000 each. Although sponsors were supposed to provide financial support for the newcomers, the Biden administration appeared to enforce that requirement inconsistently, if at all.

Conditions deteriorated so badly that the administration was forced to temporarily suspend the program last year, the outlet said.

Despite CHNV’s implementation, illegal crossings at the southern border continued to break records—evidence, the Trump administration argues, that the program failed to achieve its core objective.

“These programs do not serve a significant public benefit, are not necessary to reduce levels of illegal immigration, did not sufficiently mitigate the domestic effects of illegal immigration, are not serving their intended purposes, and are inconsistent with the administration’s foreign policy goals,” the administration said.

Parole is intended to be granted on a case-by-case basis in situations of urgent humanitarian need or when there is a clear, significant benefit to the United States—typically in cases involving medical emergencies or assistance with criminal investigations, the Times noted.

However, the Biden administration created sweeping categorical parole programs that effectively handed out more than a million entry passes, bypassing traditional immigration law and creating what critics called a backdoor immigration system.

Immigrant rights advocates praised the move as a humanitarian effort, allowing individuals who might qualify as refugees to reach U.S. soil and apply for asylum from within the country, the outlet reported.

Upon taking office, President Trump immediately halted new applications for the CHNV program and also shut down another large-scale parole initiative—the CBP One App—which allowed migrants in Mexico to enter the U.S. without a visa if they scheduled appointments in advance at official border crossings.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, approximately 532,000 migrants entered the U.S. through CHNV.

DHS announced that the 30-day grace period for affected migrants will begin once the official notice of CHNV’s revocation is published in the Federal Register.

The department urged migrants to depart voluntarily. If they do not, DHS said enforcement actions will begin, prioritizing those who have made no effort to obtain legal status—such as asylum, a victim visa, or permanent residency—during their time in the U.S., said the Times.

Migrants who entered through parole but have since secured lawful immigration status will not be targeted for removal, the outlet noted further.

Justice Dept. Seeks To Boot Judge Off Case After Ruling Against Trump

The Justice Department has accused U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell of displaying “hostility” toward President Donald Trump and is calling for her to recuse herself from a case in which she blocked his efforts to penalize a Democrat-linked law firm involved in supporting the infamous Steele dossier.

Deputy Associate Attorney General Richard Lawson said Friday that Howell has a track record of showing “disdain” for Trump, citing remarks she made in 2023 suggesting he could steer the country toward authoritarianism, as well as more recent criticism of his pardons for individuals involved in the January 6 Capitol riot, the Washington Times reported.

The DOJ also pointed to what it described as unusual rulings by Howell in prior criminal cases involving Trump, including a decision where she labeled him a potential flight risk.

“Defendants deserve a court proceeding free from concerns about impartiality. In order to remove the possibility of any impartiality to these proceedings, defendants respectfully request that this court recuse itself,” Lawson argued in a court filing, The Times noted.

Howell is the second judge the Justice Department has moved to disqualify from a case this week, the outlet said.

The department also petitioned the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals to remove Chief Judge James Boasberg, citing what it called extraordinary rulings that, according to the White House, infringe on Trump’s executive authority. Trump has personally called for Boasberg’s impeachment.

Both Howell and Boasberg serve on the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., and both were appointed by President Barack Obama. “At least five cases challenging Mr. Trump are now pending before Judge Howell, and three are pending before Judge Boasberg,” The Times reported.

Howell is presiding over a lawsuit filed by the law firm Perkins Coie challenging an executive order issued by Trump. The order seeks to prevent the firm from conducting business with federal contractors and restricts their attorneys’ access to government buildings and officials, allegedly in retaliation for the firm’s previous work against Trump, CBS News reported.

“Perkins Coie was the conduit for the Clinton campaign to hire Fusion GPS, which employed Christopher Steele, who compiled a dossier of salacious and unsubstantiated rumors about Mr. Trump,” the Times said. “That dossier helped fuel the FBI’s now-discredited probe into Mr. Trump, which included fabricating evidence to obtain a secret surveillance warrant.”

Howell issued a temporary restraining order blocking parts of the executive order, citing potential constitutional violations. “During a hearing on the case, Judge Howell suggested Mr. Trump had ‘a bee in his bonnet’ over the dossier, which contained untrue allegations about the president and Russia,” said the Times.

“He keeps bringing it up. It’s like he doesn’t want any of us to forget Fusion GPS,” Howell said during a hearing on the matter.

Howell also oversaw proceedings related to former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigations into Trump’s actions, including matters concerning the handling of classified documents and events surrounding January 6.

Boasberg, meanwhile, is presiding over a case challenging the Trump administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan nationals alleged to be gang members. He issued a temporary restraining order to halt these deportations last week, expressing concerns about the administration’s legal justifications and potential overreach. Despite his order, the administration proceeded with some deportations, leading to ongoing legal disputes. The Trump administration has argued that the president’s use of the act is not subject to judicial oversight.

In addition, Boasberg was involved in grand jury proceedings related to investigations into Trump’s first-term actions, including rulings that directed former Vice President Mike Pence to testify as part of a special counsel probe into Trump and the events of January 6, NPR reported.

Musk Threatens Lawsuit Against Former ‘Squad’ Member Who Labeled Him ‘Nazi,’ ‘Thief’

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has threatened legal action after former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.), once a member of the far-left Democrat ‘Squad’ in the House, referred to President Donald Trump’s top adviser as a “Nazi” and a “thief” during a recent appearance on CNN.

“I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound,” Musk wrote on X on Friday, replying to a clip of Bowman’s recent round table discussion on CNN.

Bowman, who was beaten in last July’s Democratic primary by a centrist pro-Israel candidate, said to a panel of commentators that the “American people do not trust Elon Musk and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position.”

Left-wing media outlets accused Elon Musk of performing a “Nazi salute” while addressing a crowd on President Trump’s Inauguration Day. In response, Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, urged him to take legal action against CNN and other outlets for spreading what she called a false and defamatory narrative.

Some Democrats have echoed the same false fascist accusations, including Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), a former “Squad” colleague of Jamaal Bowman, who referred to Musk last month as a “Nazi nepo baby.”

Bowman, a former member of the progressive “Squad” of left-wing House Democrats of color, was defeated by George Latimer in the July Democratic primary for New York’s 16th Congressional District. Bowman, who accused Israel of committing “genocide” during its war with Hamas terrorists, claimed that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a well-funded pro-Israel lobbying group, spent millions to “brainwash” voters against him.

In 2023, Bowman was formally censured by the House of Representatives after he pulled a fire alarm in the Capitol during government shutdown negotiations—an act seen as an attempt to delay proceedings.

Among those supporting Elon Musk’s potential lawsuit was conservative journalist Andy Ngo, who rose to prominence after being assaulted by Antifa rioters in Portland, Oregon, in 2019, Fox News reported.

“Accusing people of crimes is not protected opinion. CNN is putting itself at risk of liability for bringing on guests who repeat potentially defamatory claims unchallenged,” Ngo wrote.

“Sue him! Defamation against conservatives can’t go unaddressed or it will never end,” Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, wrote from his personal X account.

“Fight back!” Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., also wrote.

Meanwhile, Musk and voter registration activist Scott Presler are working overtime to motivate Republicans to turn out for a Supreme Court election in the key battleground state of Wisconsin with the GOP majority in the U.S. House literally at stake.

America PAC, a political action committee founded by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk to support President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, is spending $1 million to back conservative Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel’s canvassing and field operations.

Another Musk-backed group, Building America’s Future, purchased $1.5 million in commercials to support the conservative candidate.

His opponent is liberal judge Susan Crawford, and whoever takes the race will decide the balance of power in the important swing state’s highest court.

That matters because a Crawford victory means the court’s current 4-3 liberal majority will remain intact and justices will likely approve a gerrymandering of the state’s congressional districts that will cost Republicans at least two U.S. House seats, potentially flipping the chamber to Democrats in 2026.

Vegas man raped by his own mother now fears his little brother is also his son

Logan Gifford is one of the bravest men I’ve read about in a long time. His decision to share his unimaginable, gut-wrenching story is not only admirable but also essential.

His words hold the power to teach us all something crucial and, for those in similar situations, they may offer the strength to speak out too.

Finally alerted the police

At just 26 years old, Logan has endured horrors that no human being should ever have to face. His life has been marked by pain, trauma, and betrayal, and yet he chooses to speak out instead of burying the past.

He could have chosen silence, but Logan refuses to be silenced.

Tragically, Logan was raped by his own mother, Doreene Gifford, over a period of several years. It all happened between the ages of 10 and 16, he says.

Logan’s hell finally ended when he alerted the police about what kind of person his mother really was. In 2015, he testified against his own mother, who was sentenced to 8-20 years in prison.

Doreene has consistently claimed her innocence, but Logan has remained firm in his truth, sharing heartbreaking details about his childhood.

Younger brother passed away

For example, he says said that his mom brought him into a bedroom she shared with his father, in which a pornographic video was playing, when she sexually assaulted him. He also opened up about his troubled upbringing, revealing that child protective services were frequently involved in his life. Tragically, his younger brother, Liam, passed away at the age of 3 after drowning in a pool.

Gifford was then left to help raise his younger siblings due to his mother’s heinous behavior. But a new, shocking twist is emerging in this horrific case. Now Logan believes that his 15-year-old brother might actually be his son.

Gifford believes his brother may have been conceived in late 2008, during another instance of abuse. The young boy, whose identity Logan has kept private, faces cognitive challenges. Children born from incest are at an increased risk of genetic disorders and disabilities.

”Look at the mess that I’m left with. I didn’t ask for any of this,” Logan told Las Vegas Review Journal in a emotional interview.

Logan now wants a judge to order a test to determine paternity. His attorney, Timothy Treffinger, told the outlet that Gifford’s mother has denied the claim that he is the father and has shown a willingness to undergo a paternity test.

Logan Gifford feels it’s his duty to get answers about his younger brother’s biological father, stating, “I feel that as though it is my obligation or my duty to (him) to do this and find out who his biological father really is.”

The idea was initially suggested by his therapist, who raised the possibility that Logan might be the father. Gifford recalled, “I was 17 at the time. That threw me for a loop.”

Doreen Gifford

His younger brother, who receives a disability check, now lives with Logan after he gained temporary guardianship. The teenager had been living with Theodore, Logan’s father, until January when he moved in with Logan.

If it turns out Logan is the father, the case will shift from guardianship to a custody issue. However, if he isn’t, it will remain a guardianship case. Determining paternity is complicated due to the fact that both brothers share Theodore’s DNA, making it difficult to establish a clear result.

Logan expressed how challenging this situation is for him as a survivor, saying, ”To sit here and say that my brother may be the product of my sexual assault is a very visceral thing to think about as a male survivor. But he’s here now. There’s no going back and undoing anything. And he deserves to have a quality of life where he’s comfortable, where he can be a kid.”

As for their mother, Doreene Gifford, she was released on parole last July but was arrested again in January for violating a condition of her parole by having contact with a victim. She is set to face a parole violation hearing in April and is currently being held at the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center.

Buddy was cruelly set on fire and strangled with an extension cord – but look at him today

It’s truly shocking how cruel some people can be to dogs. These innocent animals too often endure senseless pain and suffering.

That was the case for one dog, who was the victim of a horrible attack in which his face was severely burned. But thankfully, he has since been making. a miraculous recovery, thanks to some kind vets.

In April 2021, the Tunica Humane Society reported that a dog named Buddy, described as a “happy and carefree dog” who was “never a threat to anyone,” was set on fire. He was found with his face completely scorched and charred black, with an extension cord wrapped around his neck.

According to WTVA, a child later confessed to setting Buddy on fire, but because he is younger than 12 he can’t be prosecuted.

Buddy was put in the care of Tunica Humane Society, in Mississippi, and received medical treatments from the Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In their care, Buddy began a slow but hopeful road to recovery.

“Buddy’s vital signs are good but, as with any burn patient, this is very much the bottom of a tall mountain to be climbed,” said Dr. Elizabeth Swanson, associate professor and veterinary surgeon, told WTVA.

“We are keeping him comfortable, changing his bandages, and managing any problems as they arise.”

Thankfully, despite the shocking injury, Buddy doesn’t appear to have lost his eyesight. Tunica Humane Society says that doctors believed his eyes are still intact. Damage to his eye lids will be fixed surgically, and he will likely have some vision when he is healed.

Buddy still had to wore bandages wrapped around his whole upper body. But through it all, he’s kept a good spirit.

“He continues to move forward daily,” the Humane Society wrote on Facebook. “Never once disappointing his doctors. Everyone concerned has been so pleased with the results of his skin grafts. Burn wounds are a very slow process but Buddy is excelling in his healing.”

“During his bandage change today, he showed remarkable improvement in the appearance of his face. While Buddy continues to heal, he is learning some basic commands.”

“This sweet, friendly dog didn’t deserve what happened to him,” they wrote on Facebook. “He wasn’t a threat to anyone. It was extremely cruel and calculated.”

“Hope for Buddy that his horrific injuries weren’t in vain. That somehow, some good will come from this tragedy. That change will come and Justice will be served in cases like Buddy’s.”

Since Buddy’s story went viral a few years ago, he has continued to make strides and he got the best of care from vets at Mississippi State.

He underwent skin grafts to heal his burns, and required fewer and fewer bandages. Slowly, he returned to his old self.

“Now that his ears are loose from the bandages, he is much happier and more playful. I am sure he is feeling so much joy as he slowly gets his life back to normal,” Tunica Humane Society reported last month.

And on August 7, the rescue announced a “huge turning point” in Buddy’s recovery.

For the first time Buddy’s bandages, which have completely covered his eyes since the attack, were removed without him being heavily sedated — which meant that for the first time in over three months, Buddy was actually able to see.

“His eyes were actually open and he was very aware,” the Humane Society wrote. “In answer to your thousands and thousands of prayers, YES, Buddy can still see.”

“Buddy’s last real memory of vision was in the final horrific moments just before his face was set on fire by a child. In the blink of an eye, this dog’s whole life changed.”

Finally being able to see was a huge step towards returning to normalcy for this poor pup, and his carers say that his personality has begun to shine again.

“Buddy’s whole personality has changed since seeing the light of day,” Sandy Williams, director of the Tunica Humane Society, told WREG.

“He is happy and playful and walking the halls of the hospital with a great big ball in his mouth. He loves balls. He carries them around so everyone can see.”

A video posted by the rescue shows Buddy playing fetch:

While it’s a huge breakthrough, Buddy isn’t out of the woods entirely. He hasn’t fully healed, and his eyelids will need some work to protect his eyes, the Humane Society wrote on Facebook.

And because of the severity of his injuries, he will have some special needs for the rest of his life.

“His skin is going to be sensitive, his eyes will probably require eye drops, he’ll have to wear sunscreen when he’s outside,” Williams told WREG. “He is not going to be a dog that can stay out in the sun hours at a time.”

So many of you have reached out to us recently about Buddy. Here’s a very happy update from his forever mom, Dr….

We’re so glad to see that Buddy can see again and is starting to look like his old self! He has truly been making a miraculous recovery thanks to all the kind people who have been working to save him.

WATCH: Elon Musk Makes Chilling Revelation About Threats To His Safety

During his latest appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk, the leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), made a foreboding prediction regarding the potential consequences he might face if he were to fully reveal the depth of corruption affecting the nation.

At one point in the discussion, Rogan and Musk delved into the contentious issue of congressional stock trading. Numerous lawmakers, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), have significantly outperformed the S&P 500 by engaging in stock trades while possessing insider information related to their committee responsibilities. Additionally, lawmakers have the capacity to draft legislation that could benefit their investment portfolios, prompting bipartisan calls for a prohibition on congressional stock trading.

“It’s more than just insider trading. The insider trading aspect, such as stock portfolios, is relatively easy to track, but there’s… it’s much more than that,” Musk stated. Rogan then inquired for further details, asking Musk to specify other strategies lawmakers employ to accumulate wealth.

“I mean, this is really going to get me assassinated. I’m not extending my lifespan by discussing this, to say the least,” Musk responded with a chuckle. “I was supposed to return to DC; how am I going to survive?”

Musk elaborated, “In fact, I believe I need to be cautious about how aggressively I address the corruption issue because, honestly, I was contemplating this during my flight here. If I push too hard on the corruption narrative, it could lead to desperate reactions from people.”

The CEO of X, SpaceX, and Tesla proceeded to recount various threats to his life over the years, noting a significant increase in such threats since he became a vocal supporter of President Trump. “Prior to the wave of propaganda, the likelihood of any given individual with harmful intentions attempting to harm you correlates with how frequently they hear your name. And since they have heard my name frequently, the risk has escalated.”

Musk’s team has been performing audits across numerous federal agencies and departments, including the Department of Defense. So far, the team has proposed over $150 billion in budget reductions, primarily targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, as well as the promotion of left-leaning social ideologies abroad.

Additionally, DOGE has suggested substantial reductions to the IRS, the Department of Education, and several other agencies, resulting in the layoff of thousands of federal employees.

Although DOGE does not possess legislative authority, the U.S. House of Representatives recently approved a budget resolution that will permit nearly one trillion dollars in budget cuts. It is anticipated that much of this framework will be implemented following negotiations among the leaders of pertinent committees in both the House and Senate. While the Republican-controlled Senate has passed its own version, President Trump has expressed support for the House resolution.

Lawmakers are expected to incorporate many of DOGE’s proposed cuts into law once the agreement is finalized.

Pam Bondi Files Charges Against NY Gov Kathy Hochul, Letitia James

In a momentous press conference that took place on Wednesday, February 12, President Donald Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, announced that she had led the Department of Justice in filing charges against the state of New York, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, Attorney General Letitia James, and New York DMV Commissioner Mark Schroeder. She alleged that the officials had failed to enforce federal immigration law.

Namely, Bondi noted that, under its “Green Light” law, New York had been issuing driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. Speaking about that during the press conference, she said that the “new DOJ” would be taking action to protect American citizens from the horrible impacts of illegal immigration, such as crime and tragedy.

She said, commenting on that matter and describing against whom in New York her DOJ had brought charges, “We’re here today because we have filed charges against the state of New York. We have filed charges against Kathy Hochul. We have filed charges against Letitia James and Mark Schroeder, who is with DMV.”

She then noted that her DOJ will be different from what Americans have seen in the past, saying, “This is a new DOJ, and we are taking steps to protect Americans, American citizens and angel moms.” She further added, “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops today. We sued Illinois. New York did not listen. Now you’re next.”

AG Bondi went on to call out New York’s infamous “Green Light Law.” Passed in 2019, that law allows “all New Yorkers age 16 and older to apply for a standard, not-for-federal-purpose, non-commercial driver license or learner permit regardless of their citizenship or lawful status in the United States.”

Bondi slammed it and then noted that her DOJ would be taking a strong stand against illegal immigration and its consequences, to the point of even fighting New York. She said, “Violent criminals, gang members, drug traffickers, human smugglers will no longer terrorize the American people, and that is why we are here today.”

Continuing, Bondi said she didn’t want to be involved in suing Hochul and the others, but would do so in this case and others until stat officials get in line and start following federal law. Bondi said, “We don’t want to sue you. We don’t want to prosecute people. We want people to comply with the law.”

AG Bondi also noted, during the press conference, that she had first gone after Illinois, another notoriously pro-illegal immigration state, but New York didn’t take heed, so now she is having to go after New York as well. She said, “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops. It stops. It stops today. We sued Illinois, and New York didn’t listen, so now, you’re next.” Watch Bondi here:

This suit comes amidst other moves from Bondi to fight pro-illegal immigration states. For example, upon becoming AG, she issued an order that ceases any funding to any jurisdictions that “unlawfully interfere with federal law enforcement operations.” Further, she ordered, “State and local jurisdictions must comply with applicable immigration-related federal laws” and “state and local actors may not impede, obstruct, or otherwise fail to comply with lawful immigration-related directives.”

Chaos in the skies: Heathrow shuts down after massive fire

One of the world’s largest airports is closed.

Heathrow Airport in London has been shut down all day following a devastating electrical fire, triggering massive power outages and plunging the travel industry into chaos.

With hundreds of thousands of passengers affected, experts warn the disruption could last for days, causing ripple effects across the globe.

    Electrical substation exploded

During the early hours of Friday, a shocking announcement was posted on Heathrow’s official X account:

”Due to a fire at an electrical substation supplying the airport, Heathrow is experiencing a significant power outage. To maintain the safety of our passengers and colleagues, Heathrow will be closed until 23h59 on 21 March. Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport and should contact their airline for further information. We apologise for the inconvenience.”

A Heathrow spokesperson also told British media that flight disruptions are expected to last for several days.

There is no fire at Heathrow itself, but a nearby blaze has disrupted operations to the point that the airport cannot remain open. According to Sky News, the fire started in a transformer building in Hayes, roughly two kilometers (1.2 miles) from Heathrow. The airport’s main electrical substation exploded, causing the severe power outage.

    London Fire Brigade / X

Around 200,000 passengers were set to travel through Heathrow today, but the airport’s closure has sparked major disruption that will likely continue into the weekend and beyond.

The fire started around 11:30 PM Thursday night, and although firefighters worked through the night to control it, part of the transformer building is still burning. Police have declared a major incident, and investigators are looking into the cause.

By morning, the fire had been extinguished, but specialist firefighters were still working to dampen the area using breathing apparatus.

”This was a very visible and significant incident, and our firefighters worked tirelessly in challenging conditions to bring the fire under control as swiftly as possible,” assistant commissioner Pat Goulbourne said.

The decision to shut down the airport due to the failure of one substation raises serious concerns. While Heathrow officials have confirmed that backup power systems are in place, activating these contingencies takes time and is not an immediate fix.

According to Daily Mail, at least 1,357 flights have been canceled, diverted, or delayed. Some flights that were already en route to London have landed at other airports, but many, including Gatwick, are now at full capacity.

As the chaos continues, other European airports are bracing for an influx of planes that are too far into their flights to turn back and must now be rerouted.

Heathrow, one of the world’s busiest airports for international travel, had a record-breaking January this year, welcoming over 6.3 million passengers—an increase of more than 5% compared to the same time last year. It was also the 11th consecutive month the airport handled an average of over 200,000 passengers per day, with transatlantic flights playing a key role in the surge.

In addition to the flight disruptions, rail services to and from Heathrow have been canceled for Friday, according to National Rail.

Inside the tough and challenging life of Pattie Mallette

Pattie Mellette is a scriptwriter and producer – but today, she’s most known as the mother of pop sensation Justin Beiber.

However, few people know much about her and the challenges she has faced over the course of her life…

Justin Bieber is one of the biggest stars in the world, and in the eyes of many, the Canadian star has everything you can wish for.

But even famous people have issues and suffer crises – often without the public’s full awareness. Justin Bieber’s relationship with his mother, Pattie Malette, has been rocky – and considering her tough background, it’s not too shocking that things got complicated.

Pattie Mallette was born on April 2, 1975, in Stratford, Ontario, and comes from a French-Canadian background. Tragically, her early childhood was marked by an unimaginable loss. When Pattie was just 2 years old, her 5-year-old sister, Sally, was struck by a car while crossing the street and sadly lost her life. This devastating event would forever leave its mark on Pattie’s family and her early years.

Pattie gave birth to Justin at the young age of 17. She was single at the time and was not unfamiliar with dealing with obstacles. According to Daily Mail, Pattie raised Justin all by herself in a low-income housing space in Canada. She had some help from her parents, Justin’s grandparents.

According to Pattie, she dealt with years and various instances of abuse and violence, starting at the age of 3. She explained:

“My offenders include a male babysitter, the grandfather of one of my friends, and neighborhood children reportedly mature beyond their years,” she says.

As she grew to the age of 14, she began to use different substances. Around this time, she was also beginning to shoplift at stores and was expelled from her school for starting a fire in the bathroom. Sadly, the book sexual abuse continued. In her book, Patti describes date rape at age 15.

”I was sexually violated so many times that as the years went by it began to feel normal. It’s a strange marriage – knowing something is wrong yet at the same time finding it familiar and commonplace,” she said.

As a child, Mallette developed a passion for acting and singing. By the age of nine, she was making appearances on local TV shows, such as Romper Room and Big Top Talent, a children’s talent program broadcast in her area.

At the age of 15, she began dating Jeremy Beiber. Their relationship lasted for four years, but the teen ran away from home at 16 years old. She scraped by through theft and selling drugs.

”My life was really painful as a child,” Mallette told George Stroumboulopoulos, as quoted by Cosmopolitan. ”I had a love for the arts that I share with Justin, and we kinda bond over that.”

With her past and current habits catching up to her, her mental health deteriorated further.

After a long period of despair and suicidal thoughts, the 17-year-old tried to take her own life. She was committed to a mental institution that used Christian conversion therapy.

After being released from the hospital, Mallette reached out to former friends and coworkers who did not follow the same newly discovered religion she had found. This was when she reconnected with Jeremy Beiber once more.

After the couple began dating for six months, Pattie realized she was pregnant. Justin was born in London, Ontario, on March 1, 1994.

While Pattie and Jeremy at first continued to date after the birth of their son, they eventually decided to break up after just a few months.

Despite all of the hardship she had experienced, Pattie was a supportive and present mother. She helped Justin as he pursued his musical interests, eventually helping him to enter the 2007 Stratford Star talent competition when Justin was a teenager.

The now-star singer placed second for his rendition of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick,” and Pattie posted the video of his winning performance on Youtube. The video, in addition to the subsequent ones she continued to post online, gained much popularity over time.

Mallette’s autobiography was published in September of 2012 by the Christian publishing house Revell.

The book, titled “Nowhere But Up,” focused on not just Pattie’s difficult upbringing but also how she used faith and love to gain optimism and be the best single parent she could be for her son.

    Today, their relationship has changed.

”When your kids hit a certain age your parenting style changes and it is hard letting go,” Mallette told People in 2013, when her son turned 19 years old.

”His life was my life and now I’ve had to let him go a little bit and let him be independent. It is hard to not be able to control everything that your adult child does.”

After his enormous breakthrough, Justin Bieber was facing trouble with the law. He got arrested back in 2014 when police officers were forced to pull him over around 4 a.m. while he was street racing.

That incident led to a rift in the mother-son relationship.

”I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust… it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her,” the star told Billboard in 2015, as quoted by Cosmopolitan.

But today, that period in Justin’s life is almost forgotten, and Pattie is very proud of her son.

“I’m so proud of the amazing young man you are, and the young man you are becoming. None of us are perfect and never will be, (so we will always need patience and grace for each other), but your genuine growing relationship with Jesus is evident in the choices you are making daily and the good ‘fruit’ you bear. I admire your character and integrity. You are maturing beautifully and wise beyond your years,” she shared on Instagram.

While Pattie was certainly challenged throughout her younger years, her turn to grace is truly an inspiration. Share this story on Facebook if you agree!

Parents of missing Sudiksha Konanki request declaration of death

The family of missing American student Sudiksha Konanki has filed a heartbreaking request to the authorities in the Dominican Republic that they declare her dead.

The 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student from Loudoun County, Virginia, vanished without a trace from Riu Republic Resort in Punta Cana town on March 6 while on vacation.

As per reports, Konanki traveled to the Dominican Republic for spring break with five female friends. Just three days later, she went missing.

What was meant to be a relaxing trip turned into a haunting mystery, with few clues to explain her sudden disappearance.

Last seen around 5:50 am on the beach with another tourist, Joshua Steven Riibe, her disappearance has left many in shock and confusion.

It also sparked a frantic search by air, sea, and land, with authorities from the United States, the Dominican Republic, and India — Sudiksha’s family’s home country — joining the effort.

    Facebook / Sudiksha Konanki

“This is one of the largest operations we have carried out for the rescue of a person,” Agustín Morillo Rodríguez, general commander of the Dominican Republic Navy, told CNN.

Dominican officials initially believed Sudiksha’s disappearance was a drowning. The night she disappeared, sea conditions were dangerous due to high waves.

However, the general prosecutor’s office has stated they are now also looking into whether her disappearance might involve something more than just an accident.

A new surveillance image shows the missing Pitt student cuddling up to a male friend, Joshua Riibe, just before disappearing from a Dominican Republic beach. This is the last known photo of her, according to Noticias SIN.

Despite an extensive search, Sudiksha has not been found, and a heartbreaking new update from the Dominican Republic National Police details how the 20-year-old’s family have sent the agency a letter to request a declaration of death.

As per reports, the Konanki family sent the letter yesterday (March 17), acknowledging that there is no suspected foul play.

“Joshua Steven Riibe, who has been identified as a ‘person of interest,’ remains in custody and is being interrogated at the National Police’s Gender Violence Unit to gather more information about the incident,” a rep for the Caribbean nation said in an update last Friday. Police do not consider him a suspect.

Opinion: Meghan Markle’s new show is getting undeserved hate

Meghan Markle, or as she prefers to be called, Meghan Sussex, debuted her new show on Netflix earlier this month. The show, ‘With Love, Meghan,‘ shows the Duchess in her kitchen as she entertains a spate of guests.

Now, it seems that reviews for the show and ratings have begun to pour in and from the looks of it, not a lot of it seems to be positive.

But does the Duchess really deserve any of this? Keep reading to learn more.

Meghan Markle’s show for Netflix had been in the works for a while. While a lot of people initially had no idea what it would be about, when the trailer came out nothing was left to question.

It was all about Meghan Markle, or as she prefers to be called now, Meghan Sussex, entertaining famous guests in her home, as she shares cooking, baking, gardening, and hosting tips.

The show, as it stands, has 33% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 3/10 rating on IMDb. This is by no means a stellar rating. The show’s release had been delayed as Markle requested Netflix to hold off on releasing it because of the California fires.

Now that the show has been released, it has garnered a very mild response. However, those who do not care for Meghan are already incredibly vocal about their distaste for the show.

A lot of people called the show “fake” and “performative.” And did not buy the friendships depicted in it as genuine. However, some of the hate came from people who already do not think very highly of Meghan Markle.

The show is about Meghan Markle showing her audience her tips for hosting, cooking, baking, and gardening. It does not at all seem like something that could be divisive because, at its core, it is a show about a woman showing her version of homemaking and hosting.

How can anyone watch it and decide to dislike it so much that they go online and write rants about how much they disliked it? It has no plot points written by writers that you can contest. It is not a reality show where producers play up the drama just to make it more interesting. It is just a woman sharing homemaking and hosting tips.

But people decided to dislike it and call it ingenuine simply because of the person who is hosting the show: Meghan Markle. Even the episode where she talks about changing her last name to Sussex now was criticized.

Women change their last names after marriage very commonly. Markle also shared her own reason, one that is mirrored by many women across the world: that she wanted her last name to be the same as her children. She wanted to share the name with her kids and her husband. This is a perfectly innocent and normal explanation, but one that was criticized nonetheless.

But even with all the bad reviews, it seems like Netflix still considers it a success, as the show was renewed for Season 2.

It seems no matter how much some people despise the Duchess, she still manages to somehow rise above.

What did you think about Meghan Markle’s new show, let us know in the comments. Share this with others to see what they thought of the show as well.

Before/after photos of stranded astronauts show impact of being stuck in space

Having spent an incredible nine months in space, stranded astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams were finally brought back to Earth on Tuesday (March 18).

Having initially made their way to the International Space Station (ISS) in June of 2024, the pair were supposed to complete their mission and make a return journey to Earth after just eight days.

A string of complications, however, forced those plans to change. All told, Wilmore and Williams have been stuck on the ISS for nine months.

When the pair were finally rescued, being ferried back to their home planet aboard the Space X Dragon spacecraft, they were whisked away on stretchers before they could take a first step on land.

Needless to say, returning from such a long stint in space means adjusting to a fair few things on Earth, with it reported that Wilmore and Williams may face adverse health ramifications.

Aside from breathing actual oxygen from the air, the astronauts are also experiencing gravity against their bones for the first time in nine months, and will also have to contend with conditions such as ‘chicken legs’ and ‘baby feet’, as well as an increased risk of cancer, as per the Daily Mail.

Their initial welcome home period here on Earth will naturally include all manner of tests being undertaken at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. Yet there are experts who have voiced concerns over tell-tale signs that point to possible issues with their health.

Given the sheer length of their unplanned stay upon the ISS, it’s hardly a surprise that Wilmore and Williams underwent a visible physical transformation prior to their return to Earth. For one, onlookers pointed out that the pair looked gaunt, appearing to have lost quite a bit of weight over the past nine months.

Yet while that’s to be expected, there are other, arguably more concerning health factors to consider, if we’re to listen to the experts.

Some, for example, have spoken on the fact that Wilmore and Williams have a build-up of fluids in their head due to pressure on their eyes and optical nerves. This condition, termed Spaceflight Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome (SANS), could affect their appearance.

The majority of astronauts’ eyes return to normal once they’re on Earth again, but NASA says some side effects of SANS could be permanent. Unfortunately, this can depend on how long an astronaut has been in space – potentially bad news for Wilmore and Williams since their stay was so prolonged.

Not only that, but there’s microgravity to consider. The lack of Earth’s gravity causes astronauts’ muscles to atrophy over time, making it difficult for them to maintain a healthy weight (and so affecting their appearance). This was also why they were stretchered away from their vessel after splashing down.

Finally, there’s Spaceflight Venous Thrombosis (SVT), which involves an upward fluid shift and can lead to an astronaut’s face looking ‘puffy’.

What did you make of Wilmore and Williams’ appearances when they finally returned to Earth this week? Let us know in the comments.

Calm elephant approaches vets’ truck – when they look closely they realize the grave danger

Mana Pools National Park, in Zimbabwe, Africa is a UNESCO world heritage site and conservation area teeming with awe-inspiring wildlife from hippos to crocodiles and over 300 different species of birds.

It’s manned by a team of people that ensure their animals are happy and healthy in this oasis, particularly as its home to many endangered species.

So when a team of vets got a call out to an injured elephant they jumped in their truck immediately to assist. Little did they know that the elephant would approach them so calmly with such a shocking injury.

After a closer inspection of this beautiful creature they spotted what looked like a hole in its head. The elephant, who they named “Pretty Boy,” had been shot several weeks previously and had been walking around with the bullet lodged in his head.

Vets Keith Dutlov and Lisa Marabini went out to search for injured pretty boy as soon as they got the call expecting to spend more time looking for it than treating him.

But to the surprise of the animal heroes Pretty Boy came right out to the truck, strolling very calmly, as if he was asking for help.

“He made himself available for examination within half an hour, coming right up to their car,” vets from AWARE Trust Zimbabwe wrote on Facebook.

“An X-ray was taken of Pretty Boy’s skull which – in the vets’ opinion – confirms the presence of a deformed bullet. He was likely shot at several centimeters too high for a “kill shot”, and the bullet glanced off his skull causing a depression fracture of the bones in his sinuses,” according to the post.

The bullet had hit him in the head and then lodged itself almost two inches away from the wound.

The head wound had become infected and they described a “gray pus” seeping out of the wound, “the likes of which they’d never seen before,” the post said.

They removed fragments of the bone, disinfected and cleaned the wound and gave Pretty Boy plenty of antibiotics.

The X-ray showed that Pretty Boy had had a lucky escape; the bullet was less than an inch away from killing him.

On a closer inspection it was clear this beautiful creature had been shot before and vets believed he was probably shot outside the park and came in for refuge. They couldn’t believe how calm and gentle he was toward the people helping him, considering the human cruelty he had endured.

When the elephant woke up after surgery, he was happy to find a spot next to a tree and nap.

Fortunately, Pretty Boy felt much better the following day.

He was once again happy and relaxed, thanks to the wonderful rescue efforts of the animal heroes, and in the national park he can now be safely monitored away from these mindless hunters.

Doctors reveal the one bl00d type which has the lowest risk of canc3r

As well as potentially saving your life in emergency events, some experts say that knowing which bl00d group you belong to could also boost in handling longer term health conditions – specifically, canc3r.

A study carried out in 2015 reportedly ruled that only one of the four blood groups had been connected to a weakened chance of developing certain strains of the disease. But which?

    Looking for your bl00d type

It’s crucial to note, however, that this isn’t the type of info that the NHS member of staff taking your bl00d will present voluntarily. In fact, most people only find out their bl00d group when being treated for a specific health condition.

As we say, there are four ‘types’ of blood. Every person is either:

    • A
    • B
    • AB
    • O

Each of these four groups can then be further analyzed, as either ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ – so, you could possibly be A-positive, B-negative, O-negative, AB-positive, etc. This refers to whether or not your blood carries something called the Rh protein.

Which bl00d group is connected to a weakened chance of developing canc.er?

As we say, in recent decades, in-depth studies have attempted to determine whether certain bl00d groups dictate the likelihood of being diagnosed with a certain condition.

Yesterday, it is reported that Type O individuals have a lessened chance of being dealt a form of heart disease – possibly in comparison to other bl00d groups having certain clotting factors caused by solidifying proteins.

It’s further sad news for types A, B and AB, being that these three bl00d groups have also been closely related to a higher risk of developing stomach canc3r.

As we say, a 2015 study has ruled that the Type O blood group has a weakened risk of such a diagnosis – though, it’s crucial to note that no significant relationship between bl00d groups and mortality rates in canc.er cases.

Such was also the pattern in pancreatic canc3r diagnoses – with Types A, B, and AB blood types having an increased risk.

Meanwhile, O blood type has been connected to a reduced risk of various colorectal canc3r.

Dr Sanjay Aggarwal – a general physician at Holistic Healthcare Centre in Delhi – recently commented, however: “It may be more accurate to say people with type O bl00d are at a lower risk for pancreatic canc3r, given the work researchers are doing on bacterial infection.”

Excessive Urination: Causes, Symptoms, and When to Worry

Urination is the body’s natural process for eliminating toxins and maintaining fluid balance. Yet, if you notice yourself going to the bathroom too frequently, it could be a sign that something isn’t working properly. Medically, polyuria is when a person urinates more than 2.5 liters per day. Though in many cases it can be because of harmless factors, it could also be related to health problems that require attention.

    Common Causes of Excessive Urinating

    Excessive Fluid Consumption

Drinking large amounts of water or diuretic beverages such as tea, coffee, or alcohol can cause the kidneys to produce more urine.

    Diabetes

Uncontrolled diabetes, especially type 2 diabetes, can cause frequent urination due to high blood glucose levels, which causes the body to try to eliminate excess sugar through urine.

    Urinary Tract Infections

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can irritate the bladder and lead to a frequent need to urinate, accompanied by burning or pain.

    Taking Diuretic Medications

Certain medications, especially those used to treat high blood pressure, have a diuretic effect and increase urine production.

    Prostate Problems

In men, a swollen or enlarged prostate can put pressure on the bladder and cause a constant need to urinate.

    Anxiety and Stress

Anxiety can lead to increased urine production due to nervous system activation.

    Kidney Diseases

If the kidneys don’t function properly, they may not regulate fluids in the body properly, resulting in increased urination frequency.

    When to See a Doctor?

If you notice excessive urination for no apparent reason and experience other symptoms such as extreme thirst, fatigue, pain, weight loss, or changes in urine color and odor, it’s important to see a doctor. An early diagnosis can help detect and treat any underlying problems.

    Conclusion

While frequent urination may be normal in certain situations, it’s critical to pay attention to changes in your body. If excessive urination persists, identifying the cause and receiving appropriate treatment can prevent more serious health problems.

    I learned something new today

Age spots, also considered as liver spots or solar lentigines, are flat, brown, gray, or black spots that typically appear on sun-exposed areas of the skin.

Understanding the Role of Minerals in Skin Health

Minerals play a vital role in maintaining  healthy skin. They are involved in various biological processes, including cell regeneration, protection against oxidative stress, and maintaining the skin’s structural integrity. Essential minerals like zinc, copper, and selenium are particularly important for skin  health, as they help protect the skin from damage and support its natural repair mechanisms.

What Is Selenium and Why Is It Important?

Selenium is a trace mineral that is crucial for many bodily functions, including the maintenance of healthy skin. It is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals, which are unstable molecules that can lead to premature aging and skin damage. Selenium also supports the immune system and plays a role in thyroid hormone metabolism.

    Dietary Sources Rich in Selenium

Selenium can be found in a variety of foods, with some of the richest sources being Brazil nuts, seafood (such as tuna, halibut, and sardines), and organ meats like liver. Other good sources include eggs, sunflower seeds, and whole grains. Incorporating these foods into your diet can help you achieve optimal selenium levels.

    Selenium Supplements: Benefits and Risks

While selenium supplements can be beneficial for individuals with a deficiency, it’s important to use them cautiously. Excessive selenium intake can lead to toxicity, with symptoms such as gastrointestinal distress, hair loss, and nerve damage. It’s best to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any supplementation to ensure safe and appropriate use.

6-month-old dies after family member’s dog attacks her

A heartbreaking and utterly tragic accident has left a community in mourning after the loss of little Ember Renee Southard, who was just 6 months old.

Fell to her knees in the driveway

Reporting on the death of a young child always strikes at the heart, but the memory of Ember Southard deserves to live on. Unfortunately, this sweet baby girl never had the chance to learn to walk, talk, or experience the joys of life.

Her brief time on Earth came to a devastating end on March 14, under the worst possible circumstances. According to WFLA, Ember, from Bibb County, Alabama, tragically lost her life following a dog attack.

Although the incident occurred at a family member’s home in Shelby County, Ember was from Bibb County. The attack took place around 10 a.m. on Friday.

According to Ember’s mother, Anna, it all happened when she was supposed to take her grandmother to a doctor’s appointment. The mother had planned to take her daughter with her, but her family reassured her that 20 minutes would be fine.

They hadn’t even checked in at the doctor’s office, and hadn’t been gone for more than 20 minutes when they received a phone call from the family member who was watching Ember. Southard rushed home and arrived just behind the ambulance.

When she saw her daughter, Ember already appeared lifeless. She fell to her knees in the driveway, her knees bleeding from the impact. She heard the words ”dog attack” and quickly learned that Ember had been attacked by an American Bully, an 11-year-old dog that had been around many children and had never harmed one before.

    A family pet

Ember was rushed to the ambulance, with Southard riding in the front. She begged for Ember to be okay, but she knew deep down that her daughter wasn’t going to survive. She had already known the moment she saw Ember’s blue, unmoving body.

The trauma team at Children’s did everything they could, but before Ember was taken to the operating room, they told Southard that it was very uncertain and unlikely that her daughter would survive. Despite their grim prognosis, Southard continued to plead for Ember’s survival. At 1:10, Ember passed away, despite the efforts of over a dozen doctors.

    GoFundMe

Police report that the dog responsible for the attack was a family pet. At the time, two dogs were in the house, and both were immediately taken into a 10-day quarantine by animal control.

Now, the Alabaster, Alabama Police Department is investigating the tragic incident. No arrests have been made, as authorities are waiting for decisions from the Shelby County District Attorney and Grand Jury.

In an email interview with WLFA, Anna, Ember’s mother, shared that a family member had fallen asleep with Ember on their chest.

    ”She had the sweetest smile”

When Ember slipped off, she was mauled by the dog. The family member, who is epileptic, had a seizure after Ember was already in the ambulance.

“My daughter was so sweet,” Southard recalled. “She had the sweetest smile, the cutest squeal. Ember was such a joy. Such a good baby. She always had a little smile and big beautiful eyes. She hated to be cold or wet. I can’t even describe the feeling of cleaning the blood off my daughter, of wrapping her body in warm blankets so that she wouldn’t be cold. Only me and my grandparents saw her first after she passed. I didn’t allow anyone else to see her until she was as clean and warm as she could be.”

“Ember’s nickname was Noodle. Because as a newborn, she had little noodly toes, and the name just stuck. A wittle noodle. A perfect noodle. She was loved by so many people. Ember was an expert at smiling at you before spitting up on you. She had the sweetest voice. She had just learned how to roll over. There wasn’t a soul that met her that didn’t absolutely love her. She had wild blonde/red hair and big bright eyes. There was never a more perfect baby than my noodle.”

According to Anna, she won’t be pressing charges, even though her initial reaction was to do so when she was devastated and angry. However, she says she will NEVER forgive this family member for falling asleep with her daughter on their chest. Never.

    Could have been prevented

Anna believes this tragic incident could have been prevented.

“My daughter is gone forever because they couldn’t follow a simple [expletive] rule. I follow safe sleep rules to the letter, and I never allow my children around dogs like that. Always supervised with me holding them. I don’t believe charges should be continued, and I will not be actively pressing them. I think the punishment of knowing what their neglect did to my daughter will haunt them for the rest of their life, as it should. It was an accident. An avoidable accident, is still an accident.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses, and many have offered their support. But Anna has a plea for everyone who wants to help at this time:

“The main thing the community can do for me is hold their babies closer. Follow safe sleep. Keep dogs, ALL DOGS, away from your baby. Any dog can kill an infant. There’s no reason to risk it. It’s never worth it. Please, please keep your children away from dogs and follow safe sleep. This dog was 11 years old and had never harmed a human, much less a child.”

    GoFundMe

My heart breaks for you and your family, Anna. There are no words. Rest in peace, little Ember!

Controversial boxer Imane Khelif sends fierce warning to Donald Trump

Imane Khelif found herself at the heart of a firestorm during the Paris Olympics, facing backlash from global figures like Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and J.K. Rowling.

But despite the controversy, she refuses to back down. With her sights set on defending her crown at the 2028 Games in Los Angeles, she now has a bold message for President Trump…

    How the controversy erupted

Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, 25, has been at the center of a heated controversy, with critics calling for her to be banned from women’s boxing. The backlash intensified after she was disqualified from the 2023 World Championships over disputed claims that she failed gender eligibility tests.

Tests conducted by the controversial International Boxing Association (IBA) reportedly found that Imane Khelif has male XY chromosomes.

Despite this, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allowed her to compete, leading to outrage from the IBA, which has since filed legal action against the Olympic governing body.

    Getty Images

At the Paris Olympics, controversy erupted during the women’s 66kg quarterfinal match. Algerian boxer Imane Khelif landed a powerful punch that forced Italy’s Angela Carini out of the ring — just 46 seconds into the fight. Carini withdrew, citing ‘severe pain’ from the blow.

The event led to people who were speculating about Khelif’s gender not being ”biologically female” to further question it and think it was unfair for Italy’s Carini to have to go against someone who was not ”female.”

Despite the uproar, Khelif went on to claim gold in the welterweight division at the Paris Olympics. But the question now is whether she’ll get the chance to defend her gold in Los Angeles 2028.

Now, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is facing legal action for allowing her to compete.

Adding fuel to the fire, President Donald Trump recently reignited the debate, signing an executive order titled Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports. He took direct aim at Khelif, referring to her as a ”male boxer” who had ”transitioned” and ”stole the women’s gold medal after brutalizing his female opponent.”

But Khelif is not backing down. The Algerian fighter has fired back at Trump, making it clear that she will not be intimidated.

    Hits back at Donald Trump

In an interview with ITV, she dismissed any connection between herself and recent transgender policies in the U.S., stating:

”The US President issued a decision related to transgender policies in America. I am not transgender. This does not concern me, and it does not intimidate me.”

Despite the firestorm of controversy, Khelif sees her triumph in Paris as the ultimate response to those who tried to bring her down.

”I have learned so much from this campaign against me, and what happened at the Paris Olympics was an eye-opening experience,” she reflected.

She insists the experience only made her stronger:

    Getty Images for Champion Spirit

”I feel even stronger now than I was before…. if the old Imane operated at 50 percent of her potential, then the Imane Khelif of today is even more motivated and determined.”

Winning Olympic gold, she says, was more than just an athletic victory — it was a powerful statement.

”I believe the gold medal at the Paris Olympics was the best medal of the entire Games. It was a victory that held significance on every level — ethical, athletic, and even in terms of sportsmanship.”

Filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk

However, the relentless criticism from high-profile figures, including Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling, had a serious impact on her family, particularly her mother.

”When I saw that even heads of state, famous figures, and former athletes were speaking about me without having verified facts, it shocked me,” she admitted.

The negativity took a heavy toll on her loved ones. The Algerian boxer also filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling, accusing them of “cyber-harassment.”

”It affected me mentally, as well as my family. Even my mother was deeply affected—she was going to the hospital almost every day.”

Khelif revealed that, at times, the pressure was overwhelming, but she refused to give in.

”This went beyond just a sporting issue or a game… I was deeply affected mentally and felt discouraged, but I remained aware of what was happening. Even during the Paris Olympics, I had a team of specialist doctors who provided me with support and assistance. Without their support, I might have fallen into a spiral of depression.”

What do you think about this entire controversy? Does Imane Khelif have the right to compete in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments.

Farmers finds his pasture empty, then stumbles upon all 32 of his cows dead in a pile

Anyone who’s ever lost anyone close to them will know just how quickly things can change, not to mention just how cruel fate can be.

Yet few will have experienced the strange turn of events witnessed by Jared Blackwelder, a farmer from Springfield, Missouri and his wife Misty, who fed their dairy cows as usual one Saturday morning, not knowing the rare disaster that was about to befall them.

As per reports, Jared and Misty Blackwelder went out to feed their dairy cows comfortable in the knowledge that the recent flooding in their area had passed.

There were storm clouds gathering on the horizon and rumbling to be heard in the distance, but the Blackwelders decided to leave their 32-strong humble herd to graze in their pasture until the evening.

Little did Jared and Misty know, however, that they would return to a devastating scene just a few hours later.

All 32 of their dairy cows were said to have been struck by lightning, killing them all and leaving only a pile of corpses for Jared and Misty to find.

The Wright County Missouri Farm Bureau posted images of the dairy cows at the time, encouraging readers to pray for the Blackwelders.

“It’s a common occurrence. It does happen,” MFB President Stan Cody told CBS News. “The thing that made this the worst was just the sheer number of cows that were affected.”

Credit / Facebook – Wright County Missouri Farm Bureau

A local veterinarian inspected the Blackwelders’ herd and confirmed that lightning had been the cause of death. Reportedly, he had never seen a lightning strike kill more than six cows at any one time, though given the circumstances, Jared and Misty’s animals may have been huddling together to shelter from the storm.

The heartbroken Jared said: “It’s not like they are pets. But the ones I’m milking, I’ve raised every one of them.

“Dairy cattle are a little different because you mess with them twice a day. It knocks you hard.”

Not only that, but with each cow valued at between $2,000 and $2,500, the Blackwelders estimated a total loss of more than $60,000.
